A really nice place to stay. The staff were welcoming and spoke English. The breakfast was really excellent with lots of variety and plenty of everything. Quiet location, well situated for exploring Nitra, and also close enough to Bratislava that we could reach it easily after a late flight. We would gladly stay here again.

The property was very clean and had a great atmosphere. We got a free upgrade for our room (2 levels above what we booked), the staff was brilliant, everybody was polite and very keen, they were very helpful with our late checkout as well. The Services are top notch, including the spa, the pool and the massage therapy. Food was very delicious, made of locally produced ingredients.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms were very generously sized and comfortable and the hotel location peaceful, tranquil and relaxing . Hotel looks onto the famous Lipizzaner horse stables and a lovely park with a castle .

Rooms very comfortable and good beds. The man who received us, although not speaking any foreign language was very nice, friendly and showed us all around in the beautiful original buildings of the hotel: reception and ball rooms and hotel rooms. It was a special experience. Would be perfect to organize a wedding or other big party , especially if they open facilities: swimming pool, sauna, tennis courts,...

    Free wellness. Big parking lot. I’m used to pay the amount for this stay for a night. So my expectations we not that high. I was delighted that the place was clean and although the carpet should be exchanged few seasons ago it didn’t disturb me. Close to train, bus station and famous Podhajska spa. Local grocery shop close by as well. I enjoyed a glass of wine with book on terrace as the temperature during this winter was quite high. Thank you for nice stay, I’d love to come back in future.

    Great set up. Swimming pool, places for sitting outside, restaurant in the complex with very good food. Fantastic atmosphere and great service. Everyone was super nice and friendly. Nothing was a problem and they were there to assist us with everything. We were very well looked after. We traveled with our dog and all our needs were accommodated.     I hadn't so much time for sightsing but there is really nice...

    I hadn't so much time for sightsing but there is really nice castle in the center. Just few meters from the castle there is a restaurant. Small but looking good but without booking table no possible to eat there. We had some issue to find a restaurant in the evening. Lot of them are open till 16:00 however if someone wants to find a cafe/bar etc there will be no any issue with this. I can fully recommend restaurant "Ristorante Moretti"

    I absolutely loved this property!

    I absolutely loved this property! The owner was incredibly helpful and always available whenever we needed assistance. It was immaculate and cozy, the location was ideal, and the atmosphere was wonderfully relaxing. Every facility exceeded my expectations.

    I enjoyed staying in Komarno, as it is generally a lovely town, with an excellent location, with nice history, very tasty food and excellent weather. People are friendly and helpful and there are various things to do including visiting various hot and cold mineral spring baths which are very healthy. I highly recommend visiting Komarno and same time other close by towns in Slovakia and Hungary.

    Patince used to be a nice recreational area....but those times are gone! The whole place is in decay, no one cares about the roads, sidewalks, many places are abandoned and crumbling. It feels old and dirty

    Historic sites in town but not well presented - most buildings in the castle complex could only be viewed from outside. Unable to find a good place to eat - no-one (including tourist information staff) able to think of a restaurant offering "Slovak' cuisine!

    Sturovo is directly across the Danube from touristy...

    Sturovo is directly across the Danube from touristy Esztergom in Hungary and it is very plain in comparison. Being in Slovakia it is a cheaper place to stay or to shop. The centre of the town is very quiet in the evenings with just some dimly lit bars and few places serving food. This part of Slovakia is very run down with many buildings abandoned and in advanced decay. The lanes around the town are despoiled by rampant fly tipping on an industeial scale.

    Very green, small but lovely city center, walks along the river Danube or kilometres of cycling path heading north along the river Vah. The city fortress, long abandoned and needing some reconstruction, but spectacular to walk through.

    Nitra is a pleasant town, situated an hour bus ride away from the Slovak capital Bratislava. Nitra is important for Slovaks because of its history, Christian (sacral) architecture and of course, agricultural studies and trade fairs. I was surprised to also see a Synagogue, which is in a very good condition. It has a unique Moorish and Art Nouveau style. I recommend also a walk up the small hill to see the Calvary and enjoy the view at the whole Nitra. There is a lovely vegan and vegetarian place (open only 11.00-14.00) in the Nitra centre on the Farska street, I ate their main course as well as falafels, delicious! Last but not least, it's good to go for a walk next to the nitra river, it's pleasant
