For us it was an outstanding experience to walk through the reserve and meet with Giraffes, Deer and warthogs. The house itself was far bigger and more luxurious than we would have needed. In the beginning we felt a bit ashamed to have a private pool in a paradise like spot in a poor country where people are living from a view dollars per day. Please give generous tipps to the gardeners, receptionist and cleaning staff. If you can afford this house, you can afford tipping. Even if in fact the price is no higher than an average hotel room in Europe. We felt blessed to stroll around with the animals. Also visit the nearby Hlane National Park!

Absolutely amazing location with a spectacular view on waterhole where we saw a lot of different animals: rinhos, hippos and elephants. There is no electricity in lodges but it is unimportant when you can observe wild animals from a few meters, drinking wine 😉

We enjoyed our stay, the facility was great and so the price...

We enjoyed our stay, the facility was great and so the price also. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant which was very nice. Will definitely visit again. The only downside in our unit was the bath, we would have preferred a shower.

The game Guides were very knowledgeable and pleasant.

The game Guides were very knowledgeable and pleasant. Unfortunately on our first Sunset drive, there was a big storm and all the passengers were soaking wet and freezing cold. Guides should have asked us if we wanted to go home and / or plastic ponchos should have been available for the use of guests on the drive. A small blanket would have been a good thing too as it was very cold. Perhaps a bit more info regarding procedure at the restaurant and more upfront info regarding the lack of charging facilities for phones. Our paraffin lamp was leaking and so a very strong paraffin smell pervaded our accommodation.
