The staff were very nice and helpful. The location is also great, right by the beach with a nice beach bar. Rooms were clean and had really comfortable beds. They also gave us refillable glass water bottles which you can refill on multiple locations throughout the resort.

Hotel is in a center Chaweng town (near Central Samui mall and Night market) and on the beach. Hotel is part of other hotel Chaweng Ɓeach Garden and use all fascilities (same ovner), but hotel J4 is new and great. Room is fair size, bathroom is big. Bed is king. Some rooms got terrace. Clean. Garden beetween hotel and beach (about 150m) is amazing and like paradice. There is two pool. One on the beach and second near reception Chaweng Garden Beach Hotel and his bigger and got a swim up bar. Openning pool time is 8 to 20 hrs. Pool is clean. Beach is amazing with white sand and light blue-light green color. On left side is some reef and you can snorking. Hotel beach is in deep shadow of great threes! You got also umbrella and sunchair and many table with chair for seating and eating. Beach restaurant has good food, thai and europian. Price is solid. Small thai beer 100b, Coctail 220-250b, smooties 150, pad thai 250, tom jum 280-350...

    Chaweng is a beautiful destination for a chill out holiday The Jungle Tour is definitely worth doing & don't be afraid to barter the price Lots of eateries with great selection of food to choose from Fishermans Market is very pretty at night & there are bargains to be had If you hire a car or scooter - by careful if you like to dabble in the Green because the Police will pull you over & you will get a hefty fine - not worth it - grab a taxi or the local rides (which are cheap)

    Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui.

    Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui. It’s incredibly beautiful — soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a little escape from the busier parts of the island. I loved how quiet and relaxed it was, perfect for swimming or just lying under the sun. The view with the green hills around was stunning. That said, it’s not the best during low tide — the rocks and coral can make it tricky to get in the water. Also, there’s not much going on nearby in terms of shops or nightlife, and some areas can get a bit pricey because of the luxury resorts. Still, for a calm beach day with amazing views, I’d go back in a heartbeat.

    I think I would prefer to go a bit further to Lamai beach.

    I think I would prefer to go a bit further to Lamai beach. 10km away. The private taxi from the airport cost 400baht to go the 2 km. Walk past the desk and locate a normal taxi. I found that the normal price for a taxi is 500baht for 10km or 600baht for 15km.

    I wouldn't go back.

    I wouldn't go back. I was so disappointed by Koh Samui, I thought it was a nice place to go but aside from beautiful beaches and the views from the mountains, its really rough and run down. Chaweng itself is like Magaluf. The strip is awful. But if you like that then you'd probably like it but not being a drinker or a partier I really hated it. We did however eat at some really great restaurants all over Koh Samui

    Chaweng has something for everyone. we were 2 50+ adults...

    Chaweng has something for everyone. we were 2 50+ adults with our 28 year old son and girlfriend. They enjoyed the nightlife on the strip with some friends and we enjoyed some lovely lunches and and beach days in a nice resort whilst they recovered from the nights excesses. You can arrange excursions to other islands easily. I would caution against staying up the big hills as it puts the taxi drivers off.

    It is beautiful, wonderful, crystal clear, turquoise water. Do NOT let the reviews that say that this beach is "busy, loud, too crowded" deter you from coming. We were here in January-February during peak season and it was perfect! Never too crowded and never too empty. Perfect in my experience, I would come back. I did not prefer nor enjoy Lamai beach (supposed to be better, but I disagree).
