In all my years in Thailand this is the absolute best hotel I can recommend. This is a true 5 star hotel. The staff is outstanding and the service is exceptional. The breakfast is perfect with everything you could need, and so is the service. Unfortunately only stayed one night this time but will be back soon.

Absolutely stunning place: stylishly decorated rooms, calm and relaxed atmosphere, phenomenal breakfast and super kind staff. The hotel is brand new (opened in August 2024) so not many reviews were available but i am so glad we booked it anyways. If you want to pamper yourself there is no better place. The two beaches on either side of the cape have almost no visitors so you will have a looong stretch of beach all to yourself. The famous Coconut/White Sand beach and Memories beach bar are in close enough proximity should you need it a bit more lively. Also excellent local Thai restaurants are just a 10min walk on the beach (or road) away. At the moment still a hidden gem but i am pretty sure that is going to change quickly. Book it while you still can!

The resort is fairly secluded , however you have everything you need here for a truly relaxing holiday. The food and drink options are great , variety at the buffet each day. Pool and beach are lovely and the rooms exceeded expectations. I had the best sleep !

    We had as an couple an excellent and very friendly stay at the Haven Khao Lak. Hotel itself is beautiful and the general feeling was very peaceful and there was this sense of serenity. Pool is excellent, very large and you definitely can do long distance swimming practice there if you want. Pool was clean also. Enjoyed it a lot. Room was beautiful and good quality. Beds gave us lovely sleeps. Air-conditioning works very well and you can adjust it how you like. We didn't hear any noises from other rooms, it was peaceful and nice. Gym was good. Hotel activities were excellent and fun, highly recommend having them, you can get to know with other hotel visitors that way also if you want. Breakfast was well made, coffee is served to the table. Service excellent! I liked this restaurant a lot, food had very good taste. Thanks to the chefs. We actually visited this hotel's restaurant quite often while staying in the hotel, excellent surroundings and service again. You also get free ride to certain restaurant from the hotel if you want to visit other places also. There are also few other places to eat 500m walk from the hotel. We didn't go to them but heard that those are good options also. One of the best things is the beach, it's so peaceful and quiet, there is in front of the hotel on the beach some benches and hammocks and swings, think about watching the sunset there without any restaurant buzzing or other things, just peace and a painting that slowly changes, light breeze and ocean making it's sounds. You can rent a scooter from the hotel like we did, no problems, easy and quiet drive to the main road. There are some rental firms at Khao Lak that also deliver scooter to the hotel for little price if you like that option. Good secure parking for the scooter. The staff deserves extra mention as they were very friendly and helpful, if we had any problems they were very willingly to help us out.

    Great staff, good to great breakfasts, with enough food assortment to satisfy the kids. Bicycles for free to move around, shuttles to Khao Lak from 10.00 to 16.00 and back from 10.30 to 16.30. Pools and a mini aquapark across the premises to enjoy when the sea is too wavy. No limitations on what you can bring and consume in terms of food/beverages. A good example of staff/management kindness was a case where both shuttle buses for 11.00 were full booked, yet I was granted a shuttle to buy some mangosteens and beers at our last day. Basically, no complaints about the staff, food (breakfasts only since the low season), or spirit of the place - reasonable, clean, comfortable, kind, safe, calm. Recommended for fams with kids.

    Beautiful hotel, with incredibly attentive staff. Without us even asking, they gave us a room just by the pool, so it would be comfortable for our kids to enjoy! They also provided a baby cot with a pink covers as they understood we have a baby girl, who was obviously so happy! The breakfast is great and an Italian restaurant that is within the hotel has a delicious spaghetti alle vongole and pizza. If we ever come back to Khao Lak, we know where we will be staying! Great location also for a walk with a lot of shops and restaurants around; beautiful beach instead is not even 10min walk.

    Fantastic stay at Ayara Villas for our family of 4 (1 toddler and 1 baby). The hotel was so clean and staff were wonderful. There to help with anything you need. Breakfast was delicious and fantastic selection with both western and Thai choices (with real bacon too). Room was modern, clean and big. The maid did a great job everyday cleaning the room. Such a wonderful stay and can only recommend the stay. The hotel was a little bit of a walk from the centre but we knew this. It suited us just fine.

    Amazing property! Perfect for my purpose of the trip, I booked expecting to have a chill, beachside vacation with my mum. It’s suitable for older people and family. Price to performance ratio is good. Yes, it’s a bit old and don’t expect a five star service for the price paid, obviously. But staff is kind, rooms are adequate and everything was perfect. I will choose to stay again. There is also a beachside massage service from the hotel which was nice. Happy hour was great.

The room was really beautiful- we stayed in the swimming pool access room which was great and had access to the pool bar 😎 The staff were really great and very attentive.     We loved the stay in this hotel. It is not new or moder, but we have chosen it because of exotic exterier and location. The surroundings are really nice. Location of the hotel is also good, just few meters from the sea. Employees are very friendly and professional. Rooms are clean. Breakfast are good too. We also attend in Thai cooking class and we loved it! We reccomend this attraction for everyone.

On the first night of our stay, there was a sudden loud noise which turned out to be the breaking down of the airconditioning compressor.     We love the Apsara it is our second visit and will definitely not be our last. Love the quietness of the area, yes remote but suits us perfectly and there are taxis and tut tus outside hotel to take you wherever you want. Staff are beautiful and so willing to help and take care of you. Beach is beautiful and hotel is on the beach. Food is delicious and lots of it.

    Not as busy as Phuket, less people but lots of restaurants with reasonable prices. Very family orientated, no night clubs & pole dancing girly bars. Khao Lak is what Phuket was 30 years ago but is becoming more popular.

    We love khao lak as its a lovely town as it suits our need for relaxation, great food and its not hectic . If you're after entertainment and the business if a city, then it's not the place for you
