Excellent homebase to explore Lanta. Walking distance from the pier and we rented scooters from the hosts for 250 baht. They are super kind and helpful. The room is amazing with lots of attention to detail. We loved the patio and of course the AC!

Very nice bungalows, well located in Koh Lanta. The staff is amazing, always helping you when you need : very customer centric. We appreciated everything, the food is also great and the breakfast is tasty and pretty big. I will definitely come back when I go to Lanta again ☺️.

    Pool suite was a perfect for our couple getaway. The hotel has 2 horn bills on the property and our room was right near the nest. It was a joy to see them fly by every day. Surrounding nature is gorgeous. Room overlooked the ocean, lots of trees around, nature sounds and stunning sunsets...all from our room's sun loungers. Staff was beyond helpful. Always cheery and the cleaning crew does a stellar job. Phone chargers were rolled up every day and everything stored neatly. We only had breakfast at the restaurant. It was well stocked and good by most standards.

    I absolutely loved the place from the very first moment I got there. The location is beautiful and peaceful. LaLaanta is the only resort at the Bamboo beach which is very luxurious. Loved my bungalow/hut that was facing the garden with sea view. There is a great selection of food on drinks in the restaurant and the food is delicious. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. This is a resort I definitely would like to come back to.

    I can’t fault this hotel. We stayed in the rooms across the road and they were spotless. The location was perfect, right on Klong Nin beach. Every day the staff brought more water and toilet roll to our room. The staff were incredible, so kind and helpful, lovely people. The restaurant was our favourite on Koh lanta, special mention to the garlic pepper tofu which was incredible. We will be back!

    Mee who looked after us at the poolside bar was an absolute star. The food and drinks from here were exceptional and we also enjoyed the swimming in the pool and beach.     Visited in low season weather wasn’t great but that is to be expected. Beaches not good for swimming and littered with rubbish. The vast majority of restaurants and resorts were closed. This island has a very different vibe in the busy season.

    Gorgeous location.

    Gorgeous location. Great for families or people not needing a party outside their door. Plenty of tour providers to keep your days well occupied (shoutout to Goodtime travel for being the best service I’ve seen in a long time). Highly recommend Mons cooking school too - so much fun. Take a trip down to beautiful beach for the most crystal clear water.

    During off season (July) the Island is reasonably quiet, many places are actually closed. Still, we had a great time. We had picked the right accommodation and were lucky with the weather, Still, it was often very windy with one powerful storm, which made the beaches useless: high bumper waves with rocks under the surf. Luckily, we had a great pool at our place. Things to do: Great local food everywhere and very affordable. Mangrove and island cave kayaking Elephant sanctuary (go for the 2hrs option if you can afford it) Old Town (great few form the pier and lots of tourist shops) National Park (jungle walk, lighthouse, beach) Many beaches to explore Scooter hires everywhere

    Koh Lanta is a nice island, I went at the end of the season so not too many people. I think in peak season it might be uncomfortable with the number of tourists. The beaches on the west coast were amazing, we didn't go to any on the east coast, not enough time. Lots of restaurants and night markets. Great to walk along the beach and try different restaurants to eat lunch or dinner. The ethical elephant sanctuary on the south of Koh Lanta was an eye opening experience and changed my views. Lots of walks and waterfalls to see.
