There are some nice places near beachfront too but the prices are a bit overrated I must say. It's only walking distance from the nearest port but you have to rent scooters or bikes to get through the whole island. If you are up to walking and trekking, I think it's also no problem. The island itself is not so big to walk around, maybe 10 k in total? The owner and staffs are really helpful and rooms are pretty well equipped. I really enjoyed my stay here and definitely gonna stay here again if I ever come back. The best part is two beautiful kitties in the lobby. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. The complimentary pickup when we arrived on the island and the ride back to the boat meant a lot to us. On this beautiful island, having a motor is essential to explore all the beaches, and we were able to use one for free from the resort during our stay. The breakfast was delicious, just what we needed to start the day. With beautifully styled rooms, transportation to and from the accommodation, breakfast included, a motor, and beach towels, I don't believe you could find a better deal on the island for this price.Guest review bySaraSerbia

From the small apartment style rooms you get with your own balcony, to the comfortable beds, sparkling clean rooms, nice decor and a high end feel to it. We loved our room especially the balcony. They had a great restaurant on site and there were one or two vegetarian restaurants which was great to find as i was having difficulties at a lot of the other restaurants. They also served amazing frozen cocktails in huge buckets. Check in process was nice and easy. Several good beaches.

Ko Larn is an island off the coast from Pattaya, Thailand.
Ko Larn is an island off the coast from Pattaya, Thailand. It is less developed with no global hotel chains, but a lot of the locally owned hotels and villas are comfortable and affordable. The beaches are very good and range from secluded to vibrant and bustling. Lots of choices for water sports, fishing, diving, and shopping. The local residents are generally friendly and helpful to tourists, but standard safety precautions are also important to ensure an incident-free visit. The best part of Ko Larn is the fresh seafood. Beautiful beaches, prices all over the island good, except extreme expensive Hotels. Food fresh and good and affordable. Streets dangerous, but built very well, easy to drive, but of course must be cautious because of extreme mountainous nature. Piers good and sufficient taxis to bring you around.
