I had a wonderful stay at the Mar Ozo Hotel. The girls at reception were so nice, kind, and extremely helpful, which made check-in a very pleasant experience. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, with a really nice bathroom and very comfortable beds. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there was always hot water available. I also appreciated the little details like water in the fridge and being well taken care of while waiting for the room to be ready. Overall, an excellent stay – highly recommended!

We had the most amazing time at Shiva Lodge! Everyone was so kind and welcoming and we felt very much at home. We spent 2 days at Sunrise Koh Tao, Walking distance from the Ferry. We were pleased with the room given to us, we had a beautiful view of the beach and Mae Mae the host who helped us with our check-in and excursions had a great hospitality. The place is clean and you can sit by the restaurant, work or enjoy a drink by the beach. You can even swim at the beach. The sea was very very calm. Staff at Sunrise was extremely polite and helpful with the renting of a bike or even planning the day excursions. Sunrise is located at the center of everything with less noise. If your looking for a long stay at Koh Tao then Sunrise is the perfect place.

Perfect little short stay with excellent wifi, great location and really awesome manager who helped us with taxis etc. a great place to stay and work as there is a communal co-working space. Yoga studio upstairs and cafe downstairs with great smoothies and coffees.

    Everything was amazing and we cannot recommend the place enough! The house was stunning with fantastic view, dream place to be honest! Beds was comfortable and well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms was large and aircondition was very efficient. The fridge was already stocked with butter, egg, bread, vine, soda and water that you could buy each day, which they refilled. Lots of menus in the house that delivered fairly quickly for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so one didn’t have to go anywhere if you didn’t want to. Lounge areas in our house was so amazing and we sat there every night and just enjoyed the place and the view. Pool was great size too for us 4 and excellent wifi. It’s possible to snorkle in the sea, as there is three sun decks, if you walk down the steep roads and stairs - good work out as our house was one of the top ones (C2 - but can really recommend this house!!). People working there was also so amazing and kind, we felt like home! Last, but not least, the driver we had was so nice! We got several tips to what to do and he made every drive we went on just an lovely experience - amazing guy and a awesome driver (which that place needs as it’s steep roads). Cannot recommend this place enough and we will definitely come back again 💛☺️

    Koh Tao Montra Resort was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed our stay in this resort very much. Beach villa was newly renovated and very comfortable. Also food was very delicious. One of the advantageous for divers is that the resort has its own diving centre so you can easily book and arrange your dives without necessity to visit other diving centres. All diving instructors were very helpful and good company. We definitely wish to come back as soon as possible.

    We loved that we could order breakfast and that it arrived fresh at our table. The cold buffet had good selection and the views at breakfast were beautiful. We also loved the friendly welcome and the excellent service. As soon as we arrived at the accommodation we were welcomed with a cold drink, refreshing towel and popcorn for snacks. We had a fantastic stay and would love to come again

    All good! After reading the negative reviews I was a little worried but everything was ok. Localisation was good. Calm and quiet beach with a walking distance to the hustle and bustle of koh tao. Water front bungalow with private pool was worth the price. Yes it is a little bit old but if it was brand new the price would be twice as much. Pool was ok as well. Friendly staff.

    Very relaxing, tranquil place! We stayed in the ocean view room and it was beautiful and relaxing having a coffee on the balcony looking out over the jungle and sea. Bed and bedding super comfy! Very classy modern design and relaxing colour palette! Friendly staff. Buffet breakfast. Free shuttles to and from the beach but we mainly walked down to the beach (only 10min).

    Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in...

    Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in my opinion, its divers and back packers heaven. However as a father with 2 kids in my forties i absolutely loved it. If you step away from the busy areas and off the beaten track you can find amazing coves and hiden gems still. The tourism all over the world has killed so much of our wildlife and reefs. The locals are definitely trying to do all they can to save it. Brilliant food, amazing views and a fun island.

    We loved Koh Tao.

    We loved Koh Tao. Sairee beach is a great area but you can stay anywhere and still have access as it's such a small island. We took a boat trip out to the island for snorkelling which was fab. Don't book in advance. Go onto the beach and haggle with the locals to take you over as it works out so much cheaper especially if you are a family. Highly recommend breakfast at Mango Garden...go hungry!! All In all a beautiful island and great for families as not too crazy busy!

    I enjoyed Koh Tao.

    I enjoyed Koh Tao. It is bigger with many more shops and restaurants than I expected. It is clean. The swimming and snorkeling were fabulous. Exploring the cafes and restaurants up high in the mountains is well worth while. People are kind and friendly.
