I had a wonderful stay at the Mar Ozo Hotel. The girls at reception were so nice, kind, and extremely helpful, which made check-in a very pleasant experience. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, with a really nice bathroom and very comfortable beds. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there was always hot water available. I also appreciated the little details like water in the fridge and being well taken care of while waiting for the room to be ready. Overall, an excellent stay – highly recommended!

Everything about shiva lodge is incredible, its a newly opened accommodation. The houses are incredible, everything is perfect. From waking up to birds chirping and having a coffee on ur balcony. The area (garden) is well mantained. Although they dont serve breakfast they give fresh coffee/water and bananas every morning. They even decorated the bedroom for my boyfriends birthday, even gave a breakfast voucher as a gift. The staff is amazing! Nothing was too much. They can also provide laundry service / scooter rental. Also they can pick up up from the pier for free

Mae, Gem (hope I've gotten the spelling correct) and the staff are super friendly and very hospitable. They are always ready to assist whenever needed. Mae and Gem will give advise on things to do and where to eat. Location is perfect. It's by the beach and only a few minutes walk from Lomphraya Pier.and adjacent to the Songsern Pier. Restaurants, bars and convenience shops are a few minutes walk away. Full sunset view from the property when there are no clouds. Property rents out scooter. Good size decent clean room. Toilet a little small though. Bed is comfortable. Air con is super cold. Wifi works perfectly. Lots of power outlet in the room. Room could have included a few hangers. There is a small rear balcony.

If you rent a bike at their place, the entire island is reachable so quickly and easily. You can also walk to beaches like Tatooh or Fridom (15min) and many nice restaurants. Their rooms are spacious, clean and in a very good shape. Beds are so huge and comfortable. Breakfast is good and generally this place is totally worth the price.

Lovely staff here ,Four and the team are really lovely people and help out straight away when a problem, it’s out of town what I like so quite peaceful place round by pool area , but town only a short ride away , also a cafe on site run by Jay real friendly guy and his English is really good and helped me sort out a fishing trip and long tail boat . Thanks to you all for a really enjoyable stay

An awesome place to stay. The staff were super friendly and ready to help with any request (taxi, food recommendations, snorkels, etc). The cafe next door is great with a 10% discount for guests. The room was immaculate with a good sized balcony. There are plenty of options around the hotel but would recommend having a motorbike if staying here. Chino the dog is also a star!

    Lidia the receptionist at Haadtien was excellent. My husband had a motorbike accident right outside of the resort entrance and was roughed up pretty well...I explained to Lidia that the sheets were effected as his injuries bled through the wound dressing over night and I could not get the stains out myself (I tried!) She was so helpful and caring. She not only asked the manager to assist us (and the lovely manager did not charge us anything extra for the sheets!) but she also lent us the first aid kit before going to town to buy supplies which really helped a lot. She has top notch service and is very kind and friendly! The whole staff was very nice and speak English very well, we felt at home! We also really enjoyed our friend Hein who works at the restaurant! He was so kind and gave us amazing service too. We loved this resort!! Service and scenery gets an A+

    This structure needs few words. Certainly on the high-end. Absolutely exceptional location as the resort has its private beach and exquisite pool with loungers. The food was delicious and as the resistant and bar close at 10:00 the place really shuts down allowing for a very relaxing and peaceful stay. Finally pick up at the port is an amazing service. Very professional and polite staff. Highly recommended

    We stayed in an ocean view villa and it had the best view! The hammock and sunbeds in the terrace make you wanna stay in the room forever! The decoration and overall facilities are slightly old. That being said, the look and feel is not washed out but rather authentic. The staff is -as per usual Thailand experience- very welcoming and naive and eager to help you.

    Nice clean room and bathroom, we stayed on the bottom floor next to the pool, really short walk to a lovely beach area. Staff were helpful and supportive throughout our stay, able to organise transfers. The area was nice and we walked 10 mins in each direction to find shops, restaurants and cafes. Some lovely excursions available .

    Fantastic location.

    Fantastic location. I wish they could do little more on the breakfast . The room is ok. I don't like when you have to take shoe off when you go in the lounge or the restaurant. The lounge need to updated. Staff resting on rhe sofa too which is weird.

    Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in...

    Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in my opinion, its divers and back packers heaven. However as a father with 2 kids in my forties i absolutely loved it. If you step away from the busy areas and off the beaten track you can find amazing coves and hiden gems still. The tourism all over the world has killed so much of our wildlife and reefs. The locals are definitely trying to do all they can to save it. Brilliant food, amazing views and a fun island.
