- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 198 reviewsThe resort is located in a peaceful and green area. There are no other resorts nearby so you can enjoy private and wild beach. It is also excelent place for snorkeling and observing under water garden created by Michal -the owner of the resort. Michal and Riam are great hosts - easy-going, helpful, with perfect recommendations what to do and see on the island. The restaurant at the resort is very good - with fresh, like homemade Thai food. There are some shops, little market and local restaurants walking distance from the resort. Other parts of island are easley accesible by motorbike or taxi. Me and my friends had really great time at Ao Pong Resort!Guest review byJoannaPoland
- From US$137.82 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 904 reviewsWe had the best stay of our trip in Seavanna. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the lovely Dariana and the receptionists. They gave us welcome drinks and welcome bracelets. Our room / cabin was beautiful, we slept really well and woke up to the gorgeous view of the sun, sea, palm trees and hammocks every day! It was so nice. We didn’t want to leave but we’ll definitely be back :)Guest review byRebeccaIreland
- From US$122.54 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 793 reviewsThis is a beautifully located property - the beach is clean and massive, perfect for swimming and kayaking (which they provide). The rooms were cleaned thoroughly and had a beautiful view of the sea. It was a luxurious break, and was possibly the best part of Koh Mak for usGuest review bySnehaIndia

I felt like every need I had was addressed and taken care of immediately. A standard fan room was comfortable and not too hot with the breeze and you can't beat the view!Guest review byBrandonCanada

Koh Mak is quite small but beautiful and has a lot of nature. Good kick-boxing school. Variety of good eating places Koh Mak seafood being one of them. It is far more relaxed than Koh Chang with less to do but I actually found the peacefulness and serenity more alluring. The people are friendly and it has a up early sleep when the sunsets kind of vibe but also if you want to be out later you can. There are some very picturesque beaches and bars. Also a variety of takes on food By the sea has great sandwiches etc. If the weather turns bad then this is when the boredom may be an issue. However I loved the thunderstorms and lightening shows. Best I had ever seen.Guest review byMarty TUnited Kingdom - 10.0

After researching on Google satellite I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Much lusher and more tourist-friendly than I expected. Though it's a small island, there's enough there to explore more than we could in 3 nights. And it is the ideal launching site to visit the famous diving and snorkeling sites around Koh Rang island. Five nights would be adequate, unless you're a snorkeling/diving addict, then maybe more.Guest review byFredUnited States - 8.0

Very small island which is still kind of rural and not very touristy. That also means that there are not many amenities or fun things you can do. Accommodations are more basic, food or bar options are limited, and you've seen all of the island in a few hours. But you can also have a perfect chill time without any noisy tourist crowds or big loud party areas. Beaches are great. If you want more action, just take the ferry to Ko Chang (once a day).Guest review byTyeJ_travelGermany
