Sleepy small town by the river, relaxing if you come from a large city like BKK or VTE. Rent a bike and take a tour along the river. It was bigger than I thought it was. Many temples further up in the mountains were definitely places to add to your list. I loved the views from the Mekong across to Laos, the markets in the town by the river, the night market by the station and of course all the temples were great to visit. I stayed at the Park and Pool resort which had great service, rooms and a nice pool.Guest review byRichard
