SloveniaWe absolutely LOVED our stay here. The room was big with a nice view of the pool, the beach is beautiful with chairs and cabanas on the sand and in the shade. There’s a designated swim are in the sea where boats are not allowed. The staff was sooooo lovely. The breakfast was very tasty and a lot of choices - from fresh roti to noodle soup, curries and other local dishes plus all the western favourites. Next time on the island we’re definitely stay here again.

Secluded, quiet resort in a national park, right in front of the more famous and crowded Koh Lipe. The staff was great, always helpful, accomodating, and efficient. On the first night our water heater was not working, they sent technicians right away and fixed it in 5 minutes! The room was spacious, cozy and clean, with a big bathroom and entrance on the forest side. There are kayaks available for free, you can easily paddle to desert beaches and a snorkeling site nearby. Or if you're not into kayaking, just snorkel on the coral reef right in front of the resort! You can also go trekking in the forest, there are hiking routes from the resort to the pirates' waterfall (30 minutes) or viewpoints. You can easily go to Koh Lipe in less than 10 minutes using the resort's boat, they go back and forth 4 times a day. When we arrived, they also arranged a boat to pick us up in Koh Lipe out of their schedule; same for the check out, we could stay until 12. Just remember you have to enter the water to get on the long-tail boat, so do not wear shoes nor long pants!
The resort's restaurant is great, the thai food is delicious! Breakfast is also very good and abundant, you can choose between 4 different options, plus they always bring bread and jam and fresh fruit. We had a great time here, I would definitely recommend this resort, it's perfect to visit Koh Lipe and the Tarutao national park and still enjoy some relax away from the crowd. The staff is a real plus, always available and smiling.

Out of over 50 hotel reviews here on Booking so far, today is the first time I'm giving it a 10 and therefore full marks for a review. This extraordinary small hotel with incredibly hard-working and friendly staff gave us a truly dreamlike and unforgettable vacation. Each room is in its own bungalow, all of which have a balcony or terrace with a sea view. The rooms are simply and functionally furnished, but that was more than enough for us, because the big highlight of this resort is the coral reef and white sandy beach right on the doorstep. This beach is undoubtedly the most beautiful beach on the island, quiet and perfect for snorkeling and swimming. A big advantage is that there are no long-tail boats here, so peace and quiet is guaranteed. The hotel's restaurant is excellent with a wide selection of local and international dishes and drinks. It really was a perfect stay and we will be back!

Our family absolutely loved this resort on our favourite island Lipe. This resort is terrific for families. Super clean abd large rooms. Our kids loved the enormous pool, which was nice and warm. The resort is beach front and we enjoyed many sunsets, whilst the kids played in the sand and swam. The 'Walking Street' is just a few minutes away, so the location is perfect. The staff were lovely and helpful and our children loved seeing the towel art that housekeeping left them each day. House keeping were great and very generous with towels. This side of the island has a lovely ambience and is protected from stingers. We suggest walking along to the other side of the beach to Sanom Beach. It's stunning, quiet and has no stingers there. It also a great spot for snorkelling. The hotel staff meet you at then port, take your luggage and walk you to the hotel lobby. We recommend for families.

Our stay was really great. The view was spectacular and the hotel was really worth it. They provided free snorkeling equipments, kayaking and paddling boat. even snorkeling nearby the shore, you can even see the fishes! Spend there for 2 nights and for me, I need more! The food was good and our premium dinner was amazing although it was quite expensive but it still worth it. I still remember the taste of the lamb till now! They provide free service to the town too.

The food is amazing! The location is the best beach on the island for snorkeling and chill time, even with all the Thai boats there I loved it. All the other resorts were empty during low season but Salisa still had 40% full. It’s not a 5 star resort but it’s exceptional for what it is, highly recommend and yes there’s mosquitoes so bring bug spray

Fantastic, large rooms in a great location. Quiet, but on the beach and 5 minutes to walking street!Highly recommend and will definitely return. Wanted to book more days there, however they were fully booked as it was Chinese New Year! Breakfast was good too!

Amazing location, most beautiful beach (in my opinion the best on island), you can rent a cayak for free and visit small island which is really perfect spot for snorkelig. Spacious room and terrace with gorgeous view. Breakfast was also perfect.

An amazing hotel at the end of the beach stretch with a secret small beach to the far right. this is excellent because there is also no boat action there and everything is very quite and relaxed.

Very beautiful island with stunning beaches and breathtaking views. Lot of local people and not so crowded in october compared to Phuket or other islands. However, it can be a bit dirty and old outside turistic areas. Overall a great way to see the beaches while also understanding the local life. Lots of restaurants and nice places on the walking street. The island is small and can be done by walking from almost any resort

A good place to relax and stop over before you go to Koh Lipe or Koh Adang. I would recommend Papaya Mom 2 Restaurant for delicious HALAL AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD. A visit by walking or jogging near the Mu Ko Phetra National Park during sunset was awesome and great view.

I don't remember the city of Satun...
I don't remember the city of Satun... There is the Province of Satun. However, the city of Pak Bara is worth visiting, especially the waterfront and the nice (slightly crowded) cafes. The nearby "Mu Ko Phetra National Park" deserves special attention with a long jetty enabling a trip to the time of dinosaurs.

I was here in low season so 60% of bars and stuff were either closed or empty. Doesn’t matter there’s lots of nature to discover for the adventurous at heart. Diving, koh Adang, fishing, kayaking, snorkeling and lazy walks followed by legit massage

I was there on business heading to Langkawi so only one night then the ferry the next day. With transport there is a lot to see in Satun. A quiet little backwater coastal town that has a ferry to Langkawi. If I had time I would do more exploring. I ate at the local shops a donut and a coffee. Main meal at my room as I brought it with me in my car fridge. I did go to a excellent coffee shop before checking into my room. Satun is developing but in not way touristic, No crowds

Koh Lipe is a tropical gem with stunning beaches, turquoise waters and a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for snorkeling, diving, and relaxing. However, there is noticeable plastic pollution, some roads are in very poor condition with deep potholes and puddles, and trash can be seen along certain areas. After about a week, you’ve pretty much seen the whole island, so it’s ideal for a short stay.

Good place to stay with your family on your vacation. Good eating place around the area such as: Papaya Mom, Rim Lay Kitchen & Restaurant, Nava Seafood, Bara Roti and few other restaurants. You can also go to Koh Lipe for the stay and some other water activities.
