Stop searching! This is your place to go in Pak Bara! Lovely, helpful owner - she provides many information about what to do. The bungalows are colourful and Clean. When we arrived, I could not stop smiling because the way they decorated everything made me so happy. At the map it might Look a Bit far from the Restaurants, but there are several shortcuts to the Main street. In the Garden they created a Lot of spots where you can Take great Pictures and relax. Make sure to be there for Sunset! Amazing! You can see, that the Family puts a lot of efforts and Love in this place. I would definitely stay again.

The location is few KM's away from the night market. The whole property is very spacious with sufficient parking lots, picnic tables, playground, outdoor dining area and swimming pools. They also provide public toilet and prayer room that can be used after check-out. The breakfast is fairly simple but complete. The waterpark, on the other hand, is more suitable for kids rather than adults.

Love that the resort is so near the beach. There is a pool too. The resort is like a chalet.. they are a few chalets in the premises.. ours is nearer to the pool... sad thing is that when we are there it rain heavily so we cant take much picture. This was definitely my best accommodation during my trip to Thailand. We were group of friends and couples and we all stay at this amazing small resort. It felt like private resort just for us. The rooms were super clean, bedding and towels soft and smelling amazingly. The interior is very tasteful designed with a great sense for decoration and some practical solutions for storage. They welcomed me warmly with a hand-written message and some traditional Thai sweets. It was a nice gesture. We enjoyed in our rooms and also in the pool area, which was also very clean and well maintained. Beverages and snacks on the pool terrace were tasty and always provided. Stuff was very professional and friendly, helping me with my luggage and taking care that we feel really welcomed in every moment. Thank you very much for a great time, hopefully we will be back!

    Travel We were a group of 9 people and traveled by ferry from Langkawi. The staff at Salisa already messaged me even before we left Langkawi and told us that they would be waiting for us at the jetty. They were prompt at receiving us and our bags were efficiently transported back to the resort and the rooms were ready even though we arrived before check-in time. Chalets We took 3 different chalets, the Bungalow with Sea View, the Bungalow-Sea Breeze, and the Deluxe Double Room. The Deluxe Double room and Bungalow with Sea View were facing the beach while the Sea Breeze was slightly smaller and just behind the sea view. All rooms were clean and well-maintained. Food There is a restaurant right at the resort that serves excellent Thai seafood and there was a BBQ every night for three hours with the freshest seafood. You can also walk to the walking street which is only about 10 minutes and there are plenty of eateries and bars there as well. View The view from this resort is excellent and the beach is very clean as well. We also managed to watch the moonrise on the first day we were there.

    Our family absolutely loved this resort on our favourite island Lipe. This resort is terrific for families. Super clean abd large rooms. Our kids loved the enormous pool, which was nice and warm. The resort is beach front and we enjoyed many sunsets, whilst the kids played in the sand and swam. The 'Walking Street' is just a few minutes away, so the location is perfect. The staff were lovely and helpful and our children loved seeing the towel art that housekeeping left them each day. House keeping were great and very generous with towels. This side of the island has a lovely ambience and is protected from stingers. We suggest walking along to the other side of the beach to Sanom Beach. It's stunning, quiet and has no stingers there. It also a great spot for snorkelling. The hotel staff meet you at then port, take your luggage and walk you to the hotel lobby. We recommend for families.

    Where do I start? This place was a total paradise, situated on the stunning Sunrise beach with direct access to the sea and wonderful snorkelling. I stayed in a premium double room which was incredibly comfortable and had all required amenities. The swimming pool, as well as being huge and placed with a perfect view direct down to the sea, was spotless and a pure pleasure to spend many an hour in and around. Breakfast at this hotel was simply wonderful, with a rotation of choices each day, offering high quality Thai and western options. The complimentary tea and coffee, available all day was a wonderful and thoughtful extra. The hotel offers beach towels and a free complimentary pickup and drop of service from the floating pier.

    Tucked up in the mountains, it overlooked the beautiful Pattaya beach with the longboats. The hammock and balcony was unlike any other honestly. One of the best part was you were close enough to walking street but far enough for peace and quiet. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, remembering little things about you and invested in your stay. The room itself was spacious, large bathroom with hot shower and AC worked well. We would love to come back again.

    If you want to feel like in a deserted island but with all the commodities of great resort, this place is for you! The nature is beautiful, you can find good snorkeling spot right from the hotel's beach (we saw two eels and many colorful fish) we also spotted many big lizards! The staff is super nice and sweet, always helpful and you can reach Koh Lipe by speedboat provide by the hotel. We will definitely come back!!

    In my opinion, the best resort in the whole island. The location is just perfect. In the corner of Pattaya Beach, the place is quiet at night and beautiful and active in the morning. The swimming pool and the swimming pool bar are just perfect. Good food, and nice happy hour promotion on drinks from 1pm until 8pm. Our villa was at the front line beach, so we could watch the sunset from our private sunbeds.

    The setting is right at the beach and the resort is surrounded by palm trees. Absolutely lovely service! Everyone was very kind and helpful from the moment we sat foot on Koh Lipe. Gorgeous rooms and in our case, the outdoor bathroom was the highlight of it. The resort in it’s entirety is very well maintained which makes your stay really idyllic. I can’t express enough how much we enjoyed staying there.

    I was here in low season so 60% of bars and stuff were either closed or empty. Doesn’t matter there’s lots of nature to discover for the adventurous at heart. Diving, koh Adang, fishing, kayaking, snorkeling and lazy walks followed by legit massage

    I don't remember the city of Satun...

    I don't remember the city of Satun... There is the Province of Satun. However, the city of Pak Bara is worth visiting, especially the waterfront and the nice (slightly crowded) cafes. The nearby "Mu Ko Phetra National Park" deserves special attention with a long jetty enabling a trip to the time of dinosaurs.

    A good place to relax and stop over before you go to Koh Lipe or Koh Adang. I would recommend Papaya Mom 2 Restaurant for delicious HALAL AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD. A visit by walking or jogging near the Mu Ko Phetra National Park during sunset was awesome and great view.

    Koh Lipe is a tropical gem with stunning beaches, turquoise waters and a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for snorkeling, diving, and relaxing. However, there is noticeable plastic pollution, some roads are in very poor condition with deep potholes and puddles, and trash can be seen along certain areas. After about a week, you’ve pretty much seen the whole island, so it’s ideal for a short stay.

    I was there on business heading to Langkawi so only one night then the ferry the next day. With transport there is a lot to see in Satun. A quiet little backwater coastal town that has a ferry to Langkawi. If I had time I would do more exploring. I ate at the local shops a donut and a coffee. Main meal at my room as I brought it with me in my car fridge. I did go to a excellent coffee shop before checking into my room. Satun is developing but in not way touristic, No crowds

    I travel to Pak Ba Ra very often. This is the hotel you spend less money while you get more comfortable. After I tried many different hotel, this is the best hotel which more comfortable with less price.

    I loved the water and the beaches.

    I loved the water and the beaches. Snorkelling was great especially between Sunrise beach and the rocks, The food was great, and as we were in low season, it was really quiet and chilled. The people were lovely also. I loved Castaway resort, the best mix

    Good place to stay with your family on your vacation.

    Good place to stay with your family on your vacation. Good eating place around the area such as: Papaya Mom, Rim Lay Kitchen & Restaurant, Nava Seafood, Bara Roti and few other restaurants. You can also go to Koh Lipe for the stay and some other water activities.
