I grew up in istanbul, on the Anatolian side where the Airbnb was located and the purpose of my trip was not touristic. Nature walks, a lot of nice places to enjoy the beautiful scenery of valleys and mountains, Sapancha is a very nice place to spend a couple of good long days with the family and kids or with your partner. Corlu is fine but not a tourist place. I was visiting friends. You are asking all these things but give no possibility of actually talking to you to get the problems we had sorted. The people of Avcilar are very nice, friendly and helpful. I felt safe walking around by myself even in the evening. It’s not very touristy which was nice. However that does mean that there’s not a lot of people who speak English, however everyone is willing to make it work with gestures and Google translate.
