- From $92.10 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,330 reviewsMy husband, son and I were visiting Yuanlin to attend a performance of Shen Yun. Kindness Hotel was the absolute perfect choice for us. We wished we could have stayed longer. Everything exceeded expectations. We got in late at night and were happily surprised that staff were on hand to help us. Their level of customer service was exceptional. To stay in a hotel where they had tea/coffee, ice cream and cookies 24 hours a day was beyond amazing! We were hoping to stay another night but when we checked they were full for the weekend and we could understand why. The staff were very kind to us. They agreed to keep our bags while we attended the performance which was a big deal. They also helped us call a cab to get from their hotel to the performance hall and provided a written note to give to the driver. We are so impressed, we would stay again. We highly recommend them!Guest review byBlakeTaiwan
- From $60.42 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 1,639 reviewsI was really happy with my stay here. It was a great budget hotel - simple, clean, basic, had everything I needed. I had space to park my bicycle. The staff do not speak English but they were very nice and accomodating. My room was clean and did not have any smell of cigarettes like one of the reviews mentioned. Also, the location was so convenient. It was easy to bring my bike inside the elevator, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. The vegetarian place next door was great and it even had an English menu. I was very happy with my stay here!Guest review byAlanaUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 1,342 reviewsFriendly and attentive staff, clean and tastefully decorated rooms. Free bike use (first come first serve) and perfect location right next to pristine grounds of Lungshan temple. Breakfast is a nice array of Chinese and some western dishes, featuring some treats from local famous vendors. It’s a nice touch, as you can taste before you might want to buy some to take home. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you are able to get a lower rate during the week, it’s an awesome value.Guest review bywen-tingTaiwan
- From $78.28 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 661 reviewsNot much. It was like a love hotel where you enter by car & put your car in the garage & go up to room anonymously. Room was big but NO outside light as shades drawn & cannot open them. There was a leak in the rooms vanity sink. It Sketched me out as no reception to speak of other than a door to a central area. I would not recommend it for a single person as expensive & no swimming pool as shown on booking.com website. Breskfast was ok but not what I would expect for the price.Guest review byCarlCanada
- From $61.84 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,596 reviewsHuge room and gorgeous view over the city! Everything was clean and modern. The Dim Sum restaurant next door was heavenly. With a convenience store around the corner, I had everything I needed. The staff were kind enough to store my bicycle securely in a room off the lobby. Breakfast was very good. As the hotel was not crowded, there was no issue having only one elevator. Overall a perfect stay while bicycling Route 1.Guest review byDeniseUnited States
- From $116.96 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 741 reviewsBreakfast was pretty good. Lovely big rooms with comfy beds and big bathroom. A pretty nice view as well with a spacious enough balcony that came in handy for us to hang some clothes. It's close to the more recent night market (Longdeng) but still a short taxi ride to the station or back to the 1st market in Yuanlin. Location is good. There's a small park around the corner as well.Guest review byYen-GinAustralia

If history and old Chinese architecture is your things,...
If history and old Chinese architecture is your things, Lukang is a can't-miss. Also, do go to the Glass Temple (臺灣玻璃館) out by the coast at sunset. The lighting and surrealness of the experience is truly memorable.Guest review byGeneUnited States
