    Really lovely hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern, the buffet breakfast and dinner are great and there's a laundry room that's free to use. It's also a few doors down from Michelin starred Zai Fa Hao dumpling place and close to loads of Tainan's historical sites. And it has Aircon that works and is quiet.

    The city is excellent and offers a great deal of places to visit, like Hayashi Store for some amazing souvenirs, Confucius Temple to appreciate the ancient learning and culture, a lot of Museums to showcase the art and history of the city, and the fantastic night markets for local cuisine of Tainan.     Go and see the old city at Anping - lots of interesting history, including Fort Zeelandia. Tainan is the oldest city in Taiwan so it is worth exploring. It would have been fun to hire a bicycle but we only had an evening. Next time!

    I would not recommend visiting on a Monday as most of the shops, cafes and bars were shut during the day time and also in the evening it was quite difficult to find somewhere to eat. However it is an interesting city and if you can do a sunset cruise round the canals.
