Honestly, I came to attend a wedding. If I had more time off, I would have really enjoyed my stay. It was clean, beautiful and noise free! I rested very well. If you are going to visit Antelope Valley or Horseshoe Bend or Lake Powell, this is the Town to stay. it's a small town but there is a good choice of hotels and we found surprisingly good restaurants - little gems like Rustic Thistle, or Sunset 89. These are the only ones we visited, I'm sure there are more. Really good food in both of these places. My wife has been wanting to visit Sedona for a couple years now. So glad we finally decided to visit. It is a beautiful area. We went in “off season” - summer. We are used to hot temperatures so the heat was really not a problem for us. Bonus, in off season it is really easy to get around the area in a car. I spoke to a Sedona resident who said in peak season it can take her over an hour just to drive her son to school. Uptown has so many shops to visit. We also enjoyed local restaurants and saw very few big national chain restaurants. One of our favorites was the ChocolaTree. Getting around Scottsdale is easy.
Getting around Scottsdale is easy. Very beautiful landscaping, buildings, homes and landscaping made traveling interesting because of all the sites. We stayed at this location because we were traveling to the Salt River which was only 25 mins from where we stayed. We are from Prescott Valley so the stay here definitely made it much easier of a trip. I like Kingman it's a small town yet big enough.

First time in Tempe. City was very hot but manageable because there is no humidity. Clean city, at least the parts I saw. College town with resort casinos nearby. Lots of opportunities for fun and adventure. All the restaurants seem to have lively business but there is some lack of variety of cuisine. Will likely be back.Guest review byAnonymous
