Maybe a few pastries and some hard boiled eggs. Biscuits and gravy would be amazing, but I know all motels can't do that.Guest review byJUDITHUnited States

Our host was wonderful and accommodating us on such short notice. We have been camping in our van for the past week and it was wonderful to be inside of a nice clean beautiful little house with a washer and dryer!Guest review byElizabethUnited States - 8.0

There is not much to Interior and that is just great as you get a feel for what it is like to live in such a remote part of our country. Eating choices are limited but I would rather stay in Interior to visit the park than stay in Wall which was swarming with tourists. We a te at the Wagon Wheel restaurant for dinner. Not much to look at from the outside but it was nice inside and they made a decent hamburger and they had cold beer. A cold drink was needed as it was 102F the day we visited in early September.Guest review byAnthonyUnited States - 2.0

This was a hole in wall stopover if you desperately need to stop. There is no evidence of any kind of pride, upkeep or progress in this town (we drove through different parts of town). It’s sad . Gas station food is all that was available.Guest review byMary LynnUnited States - 8.0

Love all the shops in town but the restaurants could use help on menu options our food was good. I know it's beef country but not everyone wants beef every day some seafood, chicken and pastas would be nice. The service was way better than in Montana. All in all it was a nice stopover on our way home from Yellowstone.Guest review byStevenUnited States - 10.0

Kadoka is a very small town that does not have a lot to offer as far as attractions. It was close to Badlands National Park( approx. 30 minutes to the entrance) and we did visit the distillery which was pretty good and very reasonable. There really is no place to eat so you will want to plan ahead. We ate in Wall. We also packed food. There is a moderate sized refrigerator. It was VERY hot so we really appreciated the air conditioning. Wish the pool was functioning. Comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights. Price was reasonable. Staff was friendly. Was nice to have TV and catch some news. Something we did not have the 10 days prior to heading through SD.Guest review bySharyl L.United States - 8.0
Close to Badlands, Wall Drug and Deadwood.
Close to Badlands, Wall Drug and Deadwood. The canyon was beautiful in October. and the locals were the epitome of friendly. So were a lot of the guests. Breakfast at Wall Drug is better than any continental breakfast. Deadwood is a tourist trap, but a cute one. The badlands were spectacular. There is a hospital about 30 miles away in Philip. I had a brief stay in that hospital and it was unlike anything I've ever experienced. We were thinking of moving up there; everyone was so friendly and real. Not at all like your corporate hospital. It was like mayberry RFD.Guest review byLeslie - 10.0

After a long day, riding motorcycles in the sun, this was a wonderful experience. None of the costly frills we didn't use or need. Great waking up after a good nights sleep and looking out at the Badlands!Guest review bybonnieGermany
