- From US$243.57 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 293 reviewsMy partner and I stayed for 3 wonderful nights whilst attending our sons graduation at the nearby Young Harris College. Having travelled from England we arrived late at night to be greeted by Garrett who was friendly and informative, this I now understand to be the wonderful Southern hospitality everyone mentions which we also experienced from all the reception & Oaks staff, especially the 2 lovely ladies who served us breakfast. (Sorry we didn't get to see you on our last day, we slept in late then had to rush off) Our room was spacious & comfortable, I didn't use the AC as I find it plays havoc with my breathing so opted for the large ceiling fan which was ample for our needs. The bed was so huge you need a sat nav to move around it :) We met a lovely couple in the Oaks bar who mentioned to us that the building will be going through a makeover which is possibly well needed however I had no complaints to make about the decor. We spent quite a lot of time in the gardens and on the pier with beautiful views of the mountains & lake. Overall we had an excellent stay which was possibly one of the finest of my 57 years on this Earth.Guest review byAntsjjjUnited Kingdom
- From US$278.06 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 143 reviewsLocation is right on exit/entrance to Park and away from congestion of the main drag (thankfully!). Property has a mountain lodge vibe but is basically a motel property. Special touches that we appreciated: hot cider and cookies in afternoon! Breakfast okay; liked size of room, walk-in shower and balcony, but soundproofing non-existent between our room and next room (had a connecting door for two-room reservation). Fortunately our unknown neighbors observed good evening quiet! Location is outstanding - perfect access to Park without navigating traffic congestion! Also grateful for washer and dryer.Guest review byKristin C.United States
- From US$238.64 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,113 reviewsMyself and my friend did not have breakfast during our stay. I did love this hotel though, the location was perfect, the free parking was welcome. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. What I enjoyed the most was the hotel felt quirky in a good way, the room was old fashioned but I loved that and we both enjoyed the rocking chairs on the balcony. I would have no problem recommending this hotel and if I’m lucky enough to come back to Gatlinburg I would not hesitate to stay here again.Guest review byJoanneUnited Kingdom
- From US$145.45 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,960 reviewsFrom the girls who welcome you, they are very friendly, very receptive and try to find options for you. The rooms are quite large and the bathroom is a bit small. The location is excellent, very close to downtown. It is not a 5 star hotel and it needs to be upgraded but it is really worth it, we would come back.Guest review byescarlaUnited States
- From US$179.27 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 3,249 reviewsI stayed for three nights and had a good experience overall. I chose this hotel because it had a heated pool, but unfortunately, I was too busy to use it. The location was great, as it was close to downtown, and the price was reasonable. Although the facilities were a bit dated, everything was very clean.Guest review byKijeongUnited States

Ober mountain was great.
Ober mountain was great. We had the opportunity to eat out at a local restaurant and the food was great. I wasn’t impressed with the price on ice cream one large milk shake and a medium twist waffle cone plus tip was 31.00 dollars very outrageous!!Guest review byMidge - 8.0

Asheville Biltmore is recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Helene. We wanted to visit & support the community. The local artisans are quite good with unique points of view. Biltmore is mostly back and their are furious construction efforts underway to repair Biltmore Village. Our visit took place when the trees were just starting to turn. The views will be outstanding from Mid-October through Thanksgiving!Guest review byMitch PowlasUnited States - 10.0
Helen, GA is Bavarian-themed mountain town.
Helen, GA is Bavarian-themed mountain town. You can park your car and walk everywhere. Dining is great as well. Many different choices to pick from for the picky eater. A lot of German foods and items within the town. We go during Oktoberfest and enjoy the bands at the Fest Halle. The Chattahoochee is a great place to go tubing. They also have a Mountain Coaster for your group. There is a lot to do rather you are older or younger, there is something for you to do.Guest review byVeraUnited States - 10.0

We absolutely love floating the Ocanlufte river, the indigenous people and all the attractions. The hiking trails are amazingly beautiful and to be able to experience a close encounter with the elk is awesome! As for a great breakfast, Peter’s Pancake and Waffle House is the bomb! Sometimes you have to wait a bit but totally worth it! For dinner we usually grab a chicken dinner to go at the “All fried up” restaurant and take it back to our room to enjoy, but if you are looking for a great seafood restaurant, take a 14 mile trip to Sylvia to the Creekside Oyster house! Best seafood in N.C. In my opinion. If you enjoy hiking be sure to go to Bryson to the Deep creek hiking trails where you can see 3 different waterfalls , people tubing, and all sorts of beautiful nature all on the well maintained trails.Guest review byBorton - 6.0

Roanoke, VA has NO CABS. You must get an Uber or Lift if you do not want to drive to a dinner destination. The hotel did not inform us that there would be a parade on Saturday, and many streets were closed as a result. So driving around wasn't easy.Guest review byPalfreyUnited States - 8.0

I really liked it, but I would need to visit again to really look around and visit the sites. I only traveled there to go to Buc-Ees. Didn't know that it was game day for the University, so next year, I may make it an entire weekend to visit the sites and get a ticket to the game.Guest review byYolandraUnited States - 10.0

My daughter flew to Pittsburgh and our trip began with a two day stop in Lancaster before heading to Hagerstown. She was so delighted at how beautiful and well organized the visitors center was and how well staff it was with such knowledgeable individuals who are incredibly invested in their jobs as they share fascinating yet horrific stories of the loss of so many lives as mostly men fought to make the changes needed for this country to become the start of the nation that we know today. Actually seeing graves and fields so vividly described as they were transformed into mass murder scenes. We all left the area sad, yet so thankful to all of the men who fought and died for all of us. The area around the battlefields and memorials is easy to walk and full of interesting shops and beautiful scenery.Guest review byJosephUnited States - 10.0

Old Town Winchester was a very nice place to walk around and checkout the little shops. There were numerous eateries and drinkeries to visit in a pedestrian-only area. Free on- street parking on weekends is a welcome amenity.Guest review bywilliamUnited States - 10.0
Great little town with a variety of restaurants.
Great little town with a variety of restaurants. Didn't like having to pay to park anywhere near the shops and restaurants on King Street. The Peddler steakhouse was delicious and traffic was very light all weekend. The foggy mountain gem mine was fun sifting through the soil to find gems. Found some really cool stuff and the staff actually takes time to sort through your entire bag to explain what you found. The wife is having them cut & polish a rose quartz we found and is having it set in a ring for less than $90.Guest review byBrianUnited States - 10.0
