California is amazing!
California is amazing! So much to do and explore you couldn’t possibly get bored! It’s a very beautiful place. You get the ocean, beaches, beautiful sunsets, piers, mountains rains, snow , lots of exercise lol the landscaping and the Spanish style homes and the way it’s all nestled tightly in the sides of mountains where everywhere there’s a view. California is beautiful and the and that makes the traffic worth it!! California just got it right!! But why wouldn’t they???!! HmmmmGuest review byNicholeUnited States - 10.0
We loved walking around the area. We felt very safe.
We loved walking around the area. We felt very safe. I would recommend doing some tours right away to get a sense of the city. Some tours are far better than others. We loved eating at Bourdin's. We also enjoyed the Waymo. Download the app and experience a driverless car. Ride the trolley. We toured Muir Woods and Sausalito. Chinatown was fun, look for the place in the alley that allow you to customize and see how fortune cookies are made. Dress in layers this time of year.Guest review byNancyUnited States - 10.0
My first time in San Diego and was not disappointed.
My first time in San Diego and was not disappointed. Great weather, friendly people, felt very safe walking about. A few homeless people, but they seem to keep themselves to themselves. Easy to get around on the new trams. Busses are $2.50 flat fare, reliable and plentiful. And train services across California. Compact city, so quick to get around. The harbour front is great with a long promenade from the airport all the way to Seaport Village, with great views, and plenty of restaurants. Can recommend the seafood at the "Dockside" upstairs near the Star of India sailing ship. Also walked to downtown and found a great cafe "The Corner Bakery Cafe" on Broadway, fantastic food! We visited the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier, amazing, and took a 2 hour harbour with Flagship Cruises. Also took the Trolley Tour hop on and off bus with commentary. It visits all the main attractions on a loop service, great for first time to get to know the area. Be sure to pick up leaflets with discount vouchers in many food outlets. At the harbour front there is a kiosk where you can get discounts on some attractions. Went to the zoo which was a great day out. I'd not seen Polar Bears or Pandas before. The Orang-Utans were hilarious! You must also visit Coronado Island, great food and beaches. Easy to reach by bus via the toll free bridge.Guest review byDerek MaltUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The city was clean and nice.
The city was clean and nice. We felt safe walking late at night. There were some mental heath homeless people at night. But durning the day we did not see anyone sketchy. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. We has a car and were able to see other areas that were not as well kept as Anaheim. It would have been nice to have more time to see more of the area.Guest review bystevenUnited States - 10.0

Sacramento is my home town. Been here 45 years.
Sacramento is my home town. Been here 45 years. It's nice but has its run down areas. It definitely could use better employees for the businesses around my area.. customer service sucks in most places therefore I refuse to even go to those places... And they're mostly family owned and family ran and trying to apply for work sucks. I get turned down most places I've applied too. Sacramento is not what it used to be and it's sadGuest review byWheelerUnited States - 10.0
Bike paths are great.
Bike paths are great. Sand Harbor was great too, but crowded. The bike path from Incline to Sand Harbor is a must. I think it has reached the point in South Lake where there are more people zipping around on escooters than bicycles.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 6.0

I liked the area of the property as its right next to the on and off ramp for the Hwy. Its right next to the Denny's, well as a Walmart super center! Theres also Wendys, and Starbucks across the street! Its far enough from the inner city were there tends to be a lot of riff raff as well low scale crime, as well as drugs. I felt at peace, and you can tell that the management puts a lot towards 2training her staff! Real good hard-working staff as well as very courteous and attentive to the guests needs! I figured that there would be a lot of noise and everything else that's associated with hotels that are more cost effective.Guest review byRufusUnited States - 10.0

Unfortunately most museums and the botanical gardens were closed when we were there, we arrived Monday and left Thursday, it seems to be a city that mostly works Thursday to Sunday. The hotel was walking distance from the city center, easy to walk around, beautiful city, we didn't have enough time to do the hikes in the canyons, I would love to go back for that.Guest review byMartaSwitzerland
