FAQs about hotels in Cape Cod
Unspoilt Since the Time of the Pilgrim Fathers
Famed for beautiful sand dunes, Cape Cod boasts wonderful sunsets that silhouette lighthouses. It is joined to mainland Massachusetts by 2 bridges, one by the oldest town Sandwich, and the other by Bourne – the youngest.
Falmouth to the south has beautiful New England architecture and one of the cape wineries. The world’s largest oceanographic institute is in neighbouring Woods Hole, from where ferries depart to Martha’s Vineyard, an exclusive island escape where the wealthy as well as water birds flock to.
The beautiful Nantucket island beaches are also a wildlife haven, and its main town has a historic cobbled street. Ferries from here run to Hyannis, famous for its association with the Kennedys and where most Cape Cod hotels with indoor pools on Booking.com are found.
To the east, Chatham is sheltered by offshore dunes where seals often bask. Eastham, to the north, has a historic windmill and lighthouses, and is the gateway to the protected Cape Cod National Seashore. At its tip is liberal Provincetown, where the Pilgrim Fathers first set foot on US soil. Whalewatching trips depart from here and it also has several Cape Cod hotels on the beach.
Across the inner bay is Brewster with its popular clam shack, and Barnstable which has some of the cape’s oldest buildings.

Good location to visit on day trips to Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, Provincetown, Newport, and of course Hyannis. Spent a week and got a feel for cape cod. Ate Italian, Irish and went to a tavern. Shops on Main Street were lovely. Easy access to ferries. Peaceful.Guest review byKathyCanada - 8.0
My husband and I have been to Cape Cod many times.
My husband and I have been to Cape Cod many times. There are great restaurants in the area and West Yarmouth is a good location for travelling to other parts of the Cape. One major complaint we had while we were there was the condition of the main road in Yarmouth. Very torn up and bumpy. I hope it gets fixed soon.Guest review byKathyUnited States - 10.0

Loved The Raw Bar restaurant and Mary Ellen's Portuguese Bakery for breakfast. We went to Martha's Vineyard for the day via The Island Queen. Very easy to use, Instead of traveling from Woods Hole.Guest review byDiane - 4.0
It was so bad that we left a day early and gave up a night.
It was so bad that we left a day early and gave up a night. The downstairs neighbor was throwing up all night and that was all we could hear. We are local and just wanted to go home because this hotel was bad. Clean but thin walls and you can hear everything. It is an old motel and they did not insulate when they renovated. It is a mile plus walk from Provincetown commercial street and you have to walk, or hire a pedi cab to get downtown. It seemed find at the beginning but it is very far and terrible walking on a small road with high speed traffic. I will never stay there again. I booked too late any my other choices were taken and that is why I stayed here and I regret it. I should have not gone to the Cape at all. Such a terrible experience.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Iwent there primarily to watch Yarmouth-Dennis baseball team of the Cape Cod Baseball League. This hotel was very close to their field. Yarmouth House of pizza right down street was very good.Hearth and Kettle restaurant across the street. Two mini golf courses near buy as well as Ryan's Family amusements with bowling and an arcade.Guest review byEisnor - 8.0
Cape Cod Seashore beaches were wonderful.
Cape Cod Seashore beaches were wonderful. We got to see many seals swimming. The restaurants in the area were good but hated the traffic at times. All in all, the area is pleasant. Check out the flea market on Sat and SundayGuest review bySueUnited States - 10.0

A quaint town with lots to offer! There were plenty of great coffee shops, places to eat, and places to shop! The Wee Packet and Sundae School are a must!! Cuffy's is the perfect stop for all of your gift and souvenir needs! But most of all you cannot beat those beaches!!Guest review byCarolynUnited States - 8.0

We visited local shops in the area like Susan's Garden putt putt golf, What's the Scoop Ice Cream Shop right next to it in a shopping center. We also went to Cleat and Anchor a BBQ restaurant and food was good but I should not have gotten the sampler plate the sausage was to spicy for us. Wings were good and ribs. The outside smells amazing across the street at the same shopping center.Guest review byDaveUnited States - 10.0
Proximity to so many beautiful beaches was the biggest plus.
Proximity to so many beautiful beaches was the biggest plus. First Encounter beach was our favorite. We enjoy eating at The Pearl each year. This year we mixed it up with The Lobster Pot in Provincetown. Great food, reasonable price, huge portions and a great server.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Truro is a great place to visit in the summer due to its proximity to Provincetown. The public transportation is very convenient going into Provincetown and has extended summertime hours. Favorite restaurants are Governor Bradford Inn, Lobster Pot, Pepe's and Fanizzi's in Provincetown. High Head Beach in North Truro is excellent and you will see many seals there. Next year, I will stay longer and hopefully get to visit the Truro Vineyards Winery!Guest review byNightingale
