Visit here often. I enjoy the laidback atmosphere and ease of wandering the town. Parking is free, which makes things hassle free. The beach is nice, the train station is right there at the beach and at the Fairgrounds, if you are going to an event there. The downtown area and shops are about a 10 minute walk, and there's lots of great places to eat and shop. Very laid back atmosphere. Nice quaint town for a short get away. It mainly has bakeries & wineries to check out within walking distance of the hotels. Everything closes like at 8-9 pm, so best to start your day early. Paso is a wonderful city and region in the center of our state. Great restaurants and lovely boutique hotels all anround the park. although we didn’t have time to shop, I sure wanted too!
