Good location. Clean rooms, clean bathroom. The surroundings were fine and it feels very safe. People are friendly and front desk was always pleasant to help, stayed for 4 nights and had no problems at all. Also I always check the cleanliness of the bed and it was very clean.

Nice basic hotel, not near to Chicago downtown, but quite hal hour drive from it good position on the way to east (Detroit/Niagara) we stayed two nights with family with car, the distance was ok to reach downtown and to go back in the night good breakfast, quite a good choice nice staff

    Terrible room dusty and nasty whirlpool not operable and tub so nasty and did not work. Hole in sink no smoke detector wires hanging down wall. Walls and fixtures dirty. Lamp shades dirty. No linen for couch bed. I've been there before but never again. I was completely ripped off. I should been paid to stay there instead me paying comfort. I told desk clerk she just apologized. Which means nothing to me especially for $156.00 I rented that room because that's what I wanted the extra and I got nothing. I should been offer an discount I could not wait to get out of the nasty room. Terrible and filthy room

    The lobby was dirty and had old ripped furniture. The room was deplorable! Holes in the walls, door wood pealing and broken, bathroom floor was filthy! Open hole around sprinkler, couch in room was dirty with lint all over it, sunken in. Open sex solicitation, fighting in the hallway. 3rd floor reeked of urine!

    We were only in Mattteson as a stay-over for a concert in Chicago - we did do some quick shopping at a local strip mall and the Marshall's store we visited was nice & the staff we encountered were friendly & helpful. We ate at Chick-fil-a and the crew there was exceptional (as well as the food). This was a nice area to stay and much more affordable than in Chicago. THe hotel we stayed in was only a few minutes from Interstate 57 & Highway 30 & very easy to access.

    Hotel was nice and clean and lobby was very nice and hotel smelled nice and was close to shopping, restaurants and the staff was very friendly helpful. I would definitely stay there again if ever in the area.

    The staff was very friendly.

    The staff was very friendly. My daughter lost her charger and front desk receptionist was kind enough to loan her hers until her phone was fully charged. Rooms were very clean and very comfortable. Recommend staying here if you're traveling through.

    This place looks like it's getting remolded.

    This place looks like it's getting remolded. I had the king suite. I like the floors, the lighting was dim the bedding was clean, the jacuzzi was nice. Only thing about it is if they would have some anti slip seats in the jacuzzi it would of been better. The sink next to the microwave had cigarette burns in it, it was quiet all night, I was able to relax and get some sleep so that was a plus.

    Please do not book this hotel unless you are desperate nonthing is like they advertised, and it was dirty and they didn’t serve breakfast. That was the main reason for us booking the hotel in the first place.

    Restaurant food and staff were great.

    Restaurant food and staff were great. Parking was also a good feature. Everything else was a bit subpar (ants in my room, musty smell) to other Holiday Inn’s I’ve stayed in. It would not be my choice to stay here again.

    Keep in mind this is an old Hotel that is basically a place to sleep at night. The location was great....lots of shopping and eating places near. Access to major highways so it is a good place to stay. Prices were great for a 10-night stay for me.

    Go to room 5. And see for yourself. You could not pay me enough to go back to room 5. I can’t speak 🗣 for the other rooms because I was not in them. Room 5. I am still sick from just thinking about the room. I left that same evening. I talk to someone and they told me to talk to Booking.com. Go see for self. As a matter of fact I am calling better business bureau , hopefully know one else have to suffer like I did.
