Absolutely loved Clegg's Hotel! Traveled with 2 teens and myself and the location was perfect! Room was spotless and bathrooms were kept spotless. All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Yes, it is a basic room and yes bathrooms are in the hallway. Neither was an issue, and both served their purpose where the beach is the main attraction, and your room is really nothing more than a place to sleep at night.

I’ve seen other reviews and this they completely undersell this property. It is beautiful, has an excellent location (1 min from FIP ferry) and the facilities, especially the Japanese garden and pool, are stunning. Another review complained about bathroom products; they now have Malin+Goetz, which is a luxury brand. And one mentioned the staff wasn’t friendly: Mike was excellent, made us breakfast, and sangria, so either it was an off day or the customer. Overall, this is the only place I want to stay in FIP.

More inclusive than the Pines, Cherry Grove is a special queer retreat from NYC. Worth a quick trip, even for a night or 2. Recommend traveling mid-week, non-holidays for better deals on overnight stays and a more relaxing atmosphere.

My daughter and I have been visiting Ocean Bay Park for the past 15 years as a girls weekend. I just love the peacefulness, the location, the beaches, restaurants, etc. This year I decided to rent an airbnb to invite family and friends to spend the time with us that they always hear about!
