I came after seeing the incredible reviews and I was not disappointed . This boutique hotel is a gem. 9 rooms on the groundfloor and first floor renovated very comfortable forming an L in front of the swimming pool. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge that everyone can use as the owners don't live there. When you arrive at the hotel, you have received a password before and use it to open the main door as there is no réception. They add on the mail or message which room number you get. In the kitchen you have a coffee machine with coffee or tee or chocolate capsules. In each room there is a fridge. One free parking for each car outside. The owners and Rachel the employee who comes usually in the morning are very friendly. The price is very reasonable. So it's a beautiful adress to recommend.

We LOVED our suite at the Cactai! Structure is exquisitely well designed and maintained, lots of love and care in every detail. We regret only staying one night, the suite had everything for a longer stay. The place is so well designed, it’s a mid century modern paradise. We will definitely stay here again!

This place is simply wonderful and looks even better than in the photos. The apartments are spacious and beautiful designed. The bed was super comfortable. The on-site staff was friendly and helpful. There was no crowd at the pool, everyone could find a sunbed for themselves. Self check-in was a great option too, however we didn’t receive the code to the room on time automatically, so that’s the only thing I would improve.

The place was so peaceful. Whole place is like a mini getaway place where you can relax and and have fun. We booked this place for our anniversary i called the property to make something special with the room. Once we arrived the place was decorated with flowers and balloons also with a bottle of champagne. Room was clean. We will definitely come back.

So close to so many great restaurants. we attended Stagecoach & found the shuttle drop off was within walking distance or a really cheap uber (depending how tired we were). the staff were AMAZING!!! nicest hotel staff ive come across in a while. the little shop was great for late night snacks. and the hotel gardens & surrounds were beautiful. honestly couldn't fault anything!!

Well done Sam, our welcome at reception was excellent and informative, with a great smile and chat. Lovely clean room with all we needed. The mineral pool was a great wind down for us at the end of the day. We stayed in the hot tub soaking up the heat and enjoying the warm breeze till the stars came out. A quick swim to cool off set us up for bed.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Caliente Tropics. The rooms were huge and the facilities and tiki decor excellent. Amazing pool and spa, great cocktails at The Reef bar and food at Sancho's was delicious! We felt like we had escaped to a relaxing tropical island and can't wait to go back!

Charming and well managed pretty city.

Charming and well managed pretty city. Under the crystal clear sunshine, the entire city including downtown is beautiful and looks like tidy European town having less noise and crowd. My personal impression is that Palm S is one of perfect cities to live after finishing bustling business career, having luxurious houses all over from castle class to affordable for retirees with millions of dollars pension but still spacious and refined. If you love golf, then better than any other places. For a traveler without intention to play golf, however, it would be good for stop-by for a night. Downtown is charming but just enough for couple of hours' walking with expensive cafe and restaurants. Other area is mainly residential area with well managed clean wide roads. Walking is safe, though I didn't walk out after dark.

We frequently visit Palm Desert.

We frequently visit Palm Desert. I reccommend it as a short getaway trip for people who don't mind the heat and looking for a different experience. It has a little bit for all ages and a good source for adventure.

Nice town great selection of shops not too ,much traffic didn't see a lot of homeless great places to eat love the discount grocery best place to shop don't have a Walmart though you have to drive almost 20 miles for one

The house was wonderful - it was extremely well appointed...

The house was wonderful - it was extremely well appointed with cutlery & crockery for inside and outside eating. There were lots of pots, pans, utensils, glasses, etc for serving big crowds. The linen was of high standard and beds very comfortable. I would bring your own corkscrew/waiters's friend - the one provided was useless and the electric one questionable. For non-American visitors - most local wine is corked and not screw top. The pool & hot tub were perfect - heating worth the cost! We had to get someone out to explain how to heat pool & spa as it seems they can't run concurrently. No written instructions...perhaps something to provide next time? I cannot praise the Vacasa Team enough for their impressive service and assistance - we had a few small problems and someone was on site within 4 hours - very impressive. We would come again. This is a place you should never go.

This is a place you should never go. This is probably a scam. I am currently in the process of transferring and refunding, but they are not even processing the refund properly. The photographer is very different, the air conditioner does not work, the blanket smells, and the cleanliness is terrible. Do not be fooled.

So many great shops and restaurants! I have celiac so the Copper Room restaurant was a huge bonus! Perfect location for accessing JTNP, average of 30 minutes including gate traffic for entering the park. Neighborhood we stayed in was quiet and safe.

Convenient location, stunning views.

Convenient location, stunning views. Front desk staff and wait staff were amazing. We came for a concert at the McClellan Theater, but decided we would come back just for the fun of it. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We go to Desert Hot Springs for the mineral water.

We go to Desert Hot Springs for the mineral water. The place we stayed last was great, but there's nothing to write home about in the town. In fact it feels a bit unsafe to go out at night. It's a short drive to Palm Springs however, so it's not a big problem.

Cathedral City is an excellent city to stay when you're...

Cathedral City is an excellent city to stay when you're staying in the Coachella valley. It is central to either the East valley or Palm springs area it's clean relatively safe with plenty of restaurants and entertainment nearby. A great choice to stay for either business or pleasure families or traveling alone
