Walking safely with the underpass is so convenient and great. The room is spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable. The staff, hospitality and AMAZING service. Their kindness and going the extra mile is appreciated immensely. I'll definitely come again when back in Seward. I'll also recommend to others.Guest review byOlgaCanada

Go to the Alaska Sealife center, fabulous educated helpers available to tell you about the sealife and their adventure of how they came to the center. Olivia was very knowledgeable about the Puffins and other birds, excited to tell their stories and survival skills. Rays was a great place for lunch, a bit pricey but good.Guest review byHollyUnited States - 10.0

We enjoyed exploring the Home Spit with all its shops to browse & nice places to dine. We would highly recommend the Harbor Grill Seafood & Steak Restaurant. Walking along the beach on the Spit with the fresh air & seeing the Seafarer's Memorial was very moving. We enjoyed the Alaska Islands & Ocean visitor center was very educational. The walking trail here were really nice to get out & enjoy nature. Our son lives in Homer, so we had our own tour guide. He took us all around town, to many different beaches, trail & his favorite fishing spots. We saw many eagles & lots of Mama moose with babies up near Anchor Point where our son lives. Our trip to Homer was wonderful & we can't wait to go back!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Soldotna is a wonderful town filled with friendly locals.
Soldotna is a wonderful town filled with friendly locals. The Kenai River is beautiful with the best salmon fishing! In the end of July there will be fish counts of 200,000 sockeye salmon per day coming upstream, so get your hook in the river and you are bound to catch your limit by lunchtime. So many coffee places and cool cafes like Lucy's Market in a quaint bookstore with incredible freshly baked bread and Italian-style press-grilled sandwiches!Guest review byAnitaUnited States - 10.0
I looked at some lots, hoping to move there eventually.
I looked at some lots, hoping to move there eventually. The peninsula is a hallmark of wilderness experience combined with restaurants and stores supplying all that you need. The Kenai Peninsula is a little piece of heaven.Guest review bySandraUnited States - 6.0
This property was noisy since it is right off a main road.
This property was noisy since it is right off a main road. The room we stayed in was an assortment of "updates" - had patch work walls, no light cover on one of the lights. I would say it wasn't the worse place we have ever stayed but not the best (specially for the price we paid). We didn't get much sleep the first night since it was hot, and we couldn't turn off the heaters or open the windows (due to the noise).Guest review byLaurenUnited States - 8.0
We liked staying in a cabin.
We liked staying in a cabin. It was very roomy and we liked the electric fireplace. My daughter liked the loft. It was close enough to the road but still felt remote. No TV, but it had a DVD player?? Shower felt like an RV shower. Breakfast was underwhelming.Guest review byMonaUnited States - 10.0

The 8.5 hr boat tour on Major Marine Tours was truly outstanding and unforgettable. We saw orcas, fin whales, sea lions, seals, puffins, otters, bald eagles, glaciers, waterfalls up close, etc. Excellent commentary from the captain and crew! Seven star tour!Guest review byMaria ClaraSingapore - 10.0

The Soldotna Inn is centrally located between Soldotna and Kenai. It is an hour and a half away from Homer and Seward. The Kenai River flows through the city. Excellent restaurants, catering to all incomes, are springing up through Kenai and Soldotna. Nature is right outside your door. The Soldotna Inn is a quiet place to work or just relax. I found an unpretentious room at an excellent price, with a front desk that will aide me in directions, places to eat and things to do. This is the time to experience Soldotna in its growing phase. What else could I want?Guest review bySandraUnited States - 6.0
Liked that there was a bar/restaurant right there.
Liked that there was a bar/restaurant right there. They had an out door area for dining or drinking with a firepit. Disappointed that there were not two bedrooms as stated in listing and rooms were 48 degrees and had to be heated with small space heaters which took forever to warm up the space. Cabin was very clean though. The water in the bathroom kept going from hot to cold and was not consistent. Loft area adults could not sit upright on the mattress. There was carpet on the floor up there none on the main floor which for us was no big deal. Not sure if the beds were actually queen or not they seemed very small to us. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great for the fishermen.Guest review byGreta
