We traveled with our daughter and her family and we had a very nice time. The place is beautiful! We took a boat ride to see some of the lovely scenery and homes around the lake. We found several restaurants where enjoyed very good food.

Pretty much everywhere down there has a great view of the lake Rusty roosters Diner was awesome so was Dogpatch arcade and Shop they are separately owned I made the mistake to ask if they owned the both they took offense but they were all great it's an old fashioned arcade quarter Style and Rusty roosters was cheap with huge quantities and fast

We love that every room has a balcony. We have never been disappointed staying at Old Kinderhook. The Trophy Room is a fun place to eat. We usually sit at the bar. The bartender is so friendly. Stay Here. It's awesome.

Much of the property had been covered and readied for the winter months (i.e. outside pools, etc.) , but we expected that. Everything was ready and what we expected. The only thing I found personally disappointing was I couldn't find a trail on the property that could get me down to the lakeshore. The trees are beautiful, especially this time of year, but some water views would be nice as well if you're going to stay next to a famous lake. Just a thought. Thanks!

To whom this may concern: Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lake rental property. While we enjoyed our time together as a group, our trip was unfortunately not what we expected due to several issues that raised both safety and cleanliness concerns. Many of us felt worried most of the time because of the unsafe conditions. The issues we encountered included: Dirty bathroom floorboards and shower curtain Dirty dishes left in both unit dishwashers (one even containing visibly dirty dishes) Dirty cups in the cabinet Broken ceiling lights and fans A broken chair Multiple hours spent walking the dock and decking steps to hammer down nails that were popping up, to ensure guests’ safety Loose railing on the top deck Loose railing on the steps down to the dock path (we had to secure this with a bungee cord to prevent accidents) Multiple nails popping up on deck surfaces Rotting and loose boards on the top deck Open area outside with exposed insulation and garbage Bunk room that was advertised to sleep 8 people but in reality could only accommodate 4, making it impossible for the property to sleep 16 as advertised Please see the attached pictures and videos of the property for reference. Given these conditions, the home was not as described, and we were unable to enjoy our stay without constant concern for safety. We feel that a refund of some kind would be appropriate under these circumstances and would appreciate your consideration. We wanted to make you aware of these issues to help improve the experience for future guests, but also to fairly reflect the stay we had. Please let us know how you plan to address this.

Laurie is a nice small town. Had a good diner across the street called ChancesR good food and good people over there. like going to Coconuts while we stayed in Laurie. always fun down there in Gravis Mills

Great house on the lake. Near the mouth of the Gravois arm and the main channel of the Lake of the Ozarks, but not right on it, so the boat traffic was light. For those unfamiliar with the area, grocery stores are 10 miles away, so plan appropriately. There are several restaurants on the water and close by car that are excellent. Great view, spacious house, spacious bedrooms that can accommodate up to 8-9 people. Nice big kitchen (we cooked a lot).

There was no soap/shampoo in the shower dispensers. No Kleenex in the room. No ports to charge cell phones, only electrical outlets. Only 1 chair provided on balcony. However, the hospitality of the employees was incredible! loved the vibe from bartenders at the pool and in the restaurants. And of course, Charlie! The Best!

We wanted to leave the moment we got there, the hotel looked nothing like the pictures, it was run down and crappy. The front desk lady that worked night was rude and made us move rooms when she found at we had a dog. On the second night they checked in a group in teenagers to our adjoining room that partied all night, smoked weed, cigarettes, smashed beer cans, played loud music and dog barked all night. My partner and I were supposed to have a romantic adult weekend away instead it felt like we moved into a frat or downtown club!! We are asking booking.com and the hotel to refund our second night at 212.00. We couldn’t sleep and ended up leaving early!! I also complained at the front dealing the morning we checked out but the front desk girl didn’t know the general managers name???

Gorgeous views! Closest proximity to Hahatonka State Park. About 3 miles. Old castle ruins on a cliff overlooking a natural spring. Our Family enjoyed swimming both indoor and outdoor pools. So relaxing and accommodating.
