- From $143.97 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 154 reviewsLoved the room layout! My kids felt like they had a separate "room" and loved it. Nice to have the bathroom centrally located. Also nice that we could situate the kids farthest from the door. The cabin theme throughout was a nice touch and we all got a kick out of reading the names outside all the rooms. Water park was very clean and in good condition. Staff at the water park were friendly and accommodating and there was ample seating available.Guest review byElizabethUnited States

We were given complimentary smores kits.Guest review byValley

This area is more upscale than many, and so has good shopping and eateries galore. We used the location to venture every direction - Valley Fair, MoA, Uptown/Downtown Mpls, zoos, museums - most within a 15-20 minute drive. Really, some of the best shopping available within a relatively small area means more time for fun. There is no shortage of activities to reach from Bloomington, and we will stay there again. Though Fat Lorenzo's pizzeria has a Minneapolis address, it's worth a little drive.Guest review byBD MeierUnited States - 10.0
We went to see a ballgame at Target Field.
We went to see a ballgame at Target Field. Beautiful stadium and got to watch our Padres take the win, sorry Twins fans. ;p I wish the stadium would have sold any opposing team merch, I feel like they were missing out on a whole stream of revenue as we were prepared to buy. We ate at Mad Chicken as it was a new place for us.. the food was SO GOOD, it put other more popular chicken restaurant chains to shame. We would like to come back to Minneapolis as we found the city to be clean and felt safe when we were out walking about. The building murals are really cool too.Guest review byHofeldt - 10.0

Very interesting town with a great sense of its own history. Beautiful architecture and an active waterfront area. Love the many public parks, including Hawks Ridge for seeing migrating birds. Don’t miss the free historical exhibits in the old train depot.Guest review byPatrickUnited States - 10.0

We wanted a clean and comfortable hotel for our road trip overnight stay. This hotel was very nice and convenient. It’s close to the highway and has secure parking. Most of the hotel guests seem to be either associated with the hospital and staff or patients and their families. The surrounding area seemed very safe, with lots of restaurant options. We are the Red Cow restaurant for dinner…a nice, healthy option, just across the street.Guest review byJoe - 10.0

Besides the hotel, we only ate at one other place, which was the Railcar restaurant on seventh street. excellent food and staff. We were there for a high school graduation party and watched several softball games in the area. Highways and streets were well marked and close.Guest review bypeggy - 8.0

My sister and I like the Treasure Chest Thrift store and Modern Barnyard. We like that there are lots of good restaurants to choose from. We ate at Granite City and the food was very good. Prices are reasonable and the Bloody Mary was excellent! We also went to St. Joseph's and loved their coffee shop and stores. Walking trails are great too.Guest review byBritz - 8.0

it's out of the way, but really, you can get almost anywhere in the mpls area in a half hour. it was contiguous with chanhassen where most of my activities took place. it's kind of a small-ish town so it's not congested. i like that it's near the highways.Guest review bymarilynnUnited States - 10.0

Mankato is a big city lots of restaurants to pick from when spending the night. We found Panda Express food was great. When we were in Las Vegas we ate there. Getting around is easy with Map Quest.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 2.0
DON'T EVER STAY HERE.
DON'T EVER STAY HERE. I needed police interference for what was going on outside the hotel. Shenanigans going on day and night, unclean, unmonitored, sketchy neighborhood, felt like a brothel, no peace or relaxation, should be shut down immediately.Guest review byAnonymous - 4.0

The only thing good about this motel is the location and the front desk clerk, Valerie. Everything else stunk. Noisy neighbors at all hours of the day and night, no towels, no place to hang your clothes in the room (short of two plastic hooks stuck onto the walls), a SWAT team showing up fully armed, homeless people sleeping on the grounds ... I could go on. Calls and complaints to the front desk did no good because there was nothing they could do except apologize. What would I avoid on my next trip? THIS HOTEL! I will NEVER stay there again.Guest review byAnonymous
