- From US$765.95 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,845 reviewsBooked an overnight at the Arlo while visiting with family about an hour out of town. My husband and I wanted to have a nice mini getaway while staying closer to downtown (last time we'd chosen to base ourselves in Brooklyn) and I was surprised at the fairly reasonable rate for Soho! We knew we'd arrive earlier than check in and had planned to just leave our bags and loop back to check in, so were delighted when the front desk let us know our room was actually ready! The room itself (a King standard) is tiny, but I knew that when I booked. Was just looking for a comfy clean spot to rest our heads after touring about the city and this does exactly that - the beds are soft and fluffy and the room has a modern, fresh design. Other highlights = the stylish lounge and super convenient 24 hour store/coffees downstairs - the croissants in the morning were perfection! It was winter so we couldn't avail ourselves of the rooftop but that also looked really awesome. Overall, great stay and wonderfully friendly and accommodating staff!Guest review byAvrilCanada

Chad at front desk was a superstar, so inviting, professional and made us feel like royalty. You don’t usually find that in NYC, he made it happen. PHD upstairs is alwys a good time. Rooms are clean and pretty. Location is tops! Will MOST DEFINITELY be back.Guest review byLisaCanada

We saw so much!
We saw so much! A nice combination of walks on our own including Central Park (used subway) and Times Square, etc., a Viator glass-top bus city tour including ferry (water tour) of Statue of Liberty, Broadway show, tour of Empire State Bldg., wonderful meals and drinks. We feel we got to see everything we wanted and more! Loved New York!Guest review byRogerUnited States - 10.0

I wish I had more time to explore the area. I was born in Queens a long time ago and there have been many changes I would like to have explored. I looked like there were many good restaurants in the neighborhood.Guest review byTerenceUnited States - 6.0

Need to stay at more places and explore more around Brooklyn, mainly explored Manhattan rather than Brooklyn so cannot say much for now. Can only say that DUMBO is an amazing place and everyone that can visit there should visit.Guest review byCanberk - 6.0

From the periodic information passengers were able to get my United flight to Portland Maine was repeatedly delayed and then cancelled because the plane would not be able to land once it arrived. Apparently the problems on 4 September were building up throughout the day. Before the flight from LA landed my daughter in Sydney, Australia messaged me to tell there were ”shenanigans” at Newark.Guest review byMargaretAustralia - 10.0

We were traveling from central PA to visit the Statue of Liberty and didn't want to make the trip in one day, so we decided to get lodging the night prior to our day trip. We debated on whether to stay in New Jersey or New York. We searched for rooms and this motel in Jersey City seemed like a good choice. It was perfect. We walked to a coffee shop in Jersey City and felt quite safe. We passed many solo joggers, mothers with small children and bicyclists. The part of the city we were in was very clean. We were pleasantly surprised.Guest review byCornelius - 2.0

Bronx is a good place but the house and all the shenanigans about no one picking the call but texting only. I thought it was a hotel not knowing it’s a house in some dark places in Bronx. I texted the person back that I’m not interested because I feel uncomfortable and have asked for a refund of $203. Shiiii….Guest review byPhilip - 10.0

Nice secure area, mind the pavements they may be bumpy (though getting fixed from time to time), close to NYC, tunnel takes its time but was never extreme, nice small neighborhoods, great view on NYC, nice shopping (mall, low price shops, dine-in)Guest review byVividAustria - 10.0

After landing at Liberty, we rented a car for our tours of NYC. Finding and paying for parking in NYC was a difficulty I could live without. Fortunately, most tolls were paid with the car rental agreement. The Secaucus location was perfect for driving, but the buses stop right outside the hotel. If it were available to guests, more information on bus routes to the City's main attractions, as well as details on paying for bus and subway toll passes and wheelchair accessibility, would be helpful and might change how a traveler chooses to get around.Guest review byReyesUnited States - 6.0
parking should be free its customers.
parking should be free its customers. It cost us an extra $100 which we were unaware of the daily price of parking until we got the charge. There was nothing showing how much it will cost us for parking - transparency. towels / wash clothes seem to be in short supply ever time we asked, so we had to keep going back / forth. Staff was great in their jobs / helpful. Location was great.Guest review byBdaonionBermuda - 6.0
