- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 28 reviewsGreat location! Loved looking out the window every day at the ocean and palm trees. Sunsets were spectacular! Was able to walk to get food, coffee, and get to the beach. The condo was perfect for my adult daughter and I. We spent time together and had space to be alone. The kitchen was fully stocked. We did all our laundry before we left so one less thing to do when we arrived home. Liked access to the building was restricted to those who had key faubs. Parking was also secure. Would definitely stay there again.Guest review byLaura

My first time in San Diego and was not disappointed.
My first time in San Diego and was not disappointed. Great weather, friendly people, felt very safe walking about. A few homeless people, but they seem to keep themselves to themselves. Easy to get around on the new trams. Busses are $2.50 flat fare, reliable and plentiful. And train services across California. Compact city, so quick to get around. The harbour front is great with a long promenade from the airport all the way to Seaport Village, with great views, and plenty of restaurants. Can recommend the seafood at the "Dockside" upstairs near the Star of India sailing ship. Also walked to downtown and found a great cafe "The Corner Bakery Cafe" on Broadway, fantastic food! We visited the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier, amazing, and took a 2 hour harbour with Flagship Cruises. Also took the Trolley Tour hop on and off bus with commentary. It visits all the main attractions on a loop service, great for first time to get to know the area. Be sure to pick up leaflets with discount vouchers in many food outlets. At the harbour front there is a kiosk where you can get discounts on some attractions. Went to the zoo which was a great day out. I'd not seen Polar Bears or Pandas before. The Orang-Utans were hilarious! You must also visit Coronado Island, great food and beaches. Easy to reach by bus via the toll free bridge.Guest review byDerek MaltUnited Kingdom - 6.0
I live in the region. Carlsbad the city was not the issue.
I live in the region. Carlsbad the city was not the issue. It was Studio 6 that was disappointing. The advertisement on booking.com for this facility is inaccurate, downright wrong. When was the last time anyone from booking.com actually visited the property?Booking.com reputation is based on reviews from customers that use your services. Please, I implore you to have someone visit this property. This property is not a good representation of the city and of booking.com.Guest review byEvelynUnited States - 8.0
The breakfast was not up to my standards.
The breakfast was not up to my standards. The eggs tasted like water, no bacon just sausages. I only ate breakfast there my first morning, the other 3 I went somewhere else. The hotel charged my credit card the amount I paid at Booking.com.Guest review byDaleUnited States - 10.0

Oceanside is a growing city along the ocean with many restaurants etc. It's very walkable if you are in the downtown area. There is plenty to do but if it's not your vibe, there are many nearby places to entertain yourself. Close to ocean, mountains, desert, casinos, Legoland, Disneyland, and San Diego places such as zoo, Balboa Park, or Seaworld. Lots of hiking opportunities and parks!Guest review byBeccaUnited States - 10.0
The staff were all very friendly and courteous.
The staff were all very friendly and courteous. The two main golf courses were open and great to play, but I was lucky as the Willow Glen course is still undergoing renovations. When those are completed it will be even more impressive. The greens played fast and true and were generally in great condition. The Oak Glen course is flatter and in excellent condition though also has some ongoing improvements happening. The Restaurant and Bar Staff were friendly and engaging, the Pro Golf Shop staff equally so. The food was very good with a variety of choice. In all it was a great experience to play golf there and soak up the ambience while taking in the history of the indigenous people in the area. I thoroughly recommend Singing Hill Golf Resort.Guest review byPhilip MarkAustralia - 6.0

I am not familiar with national city but it's super close to TJ the Mexican border. If you don't want to stay in Mexico it is a very short drive and very convenient. It is also very convenient to drive from national city to the heart of San Diego.Guest review byc_gomez6United States - 8.0

There were less homeless and sketchy looking people standing around this time. The city seems to be finding a place for people who need help instead of letting them pass out on the sidewalks like before. I still see encampments in the making or abandon camp debris, mattresses etc. next to highways and along roadways.Guest review byTimUnited States - 2.0

I should’ve just spent 50 more to go to a better motel if I knew they were gonna rob me of 150, charged my card extra.STAY AWAY! it was dirty and unsafe, the employee Orlando and the young boys at night are rude and shady watch out!!!! Not a family friendly spot! And the roads leading up to the motel is killer on tires FYI. Spend a little more on somewhere better so you don’t get ROBBED A lot more.Guest review byAkaylaUnited States - 8.0

Our third family trip to Encinitas, a charming beach town, was a delightful experience. Its quiet and walkable streets made it an ideal destination for a family vacation. We cycled along Neptun Avenue and relaxed on the beach near the Stone Steps. The town boasts a variety of great restaurants and coffee shops. We highly recommend Atelier-Mannana and Leu Leu, but be sure to book in advance! Herb and Sea is another must-try.Guest review byOfeliaUnited States
