Think grand style old world hotel set on a hill near a lake in the mountains. Then, add a dash of holiday magic with trees and decorations around every corner (A life-size gingerbread house made of REAL gingerbread? Yes!) and you have Skytop! Beautiful setting, excellent dining, and super friendly staff made our stay just perfect.Guest review bykarenUnited States

We hired bikes and cycled around the city centre using the ample bike lanes and river side tracks, a lovely way to see the sights. The weather in September was perfect. The Philadelphia Eagles beat the LA Rams at a home game while we were there and it was impossible not to get swept up in the atmosphere - it felt like the whole city centre was supporting it with the game on in bars and restaurants and people beeping their horns in celebrations.Guest review byEmmaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This time we only stayed in Pittsburgh for a short overnight visit, but enjoyed briefly seeing the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University and eating at the Union Grill near CMU. In the past, we visited several attractions including the Pittsburgh Zoo, the Duquesne Incline, the Carnegie Science Center (now called the Kamin Science Center) and the National Aviary. We had a great time and ever since then I have wanted to go back!Guest review byDavis - 10.0

The country is beautiful. So much to see and do. We found a milling museum in Mascot. Very interesting and free to tour. We go to Lancaster every year and never tire of it! The surrounding towns are very pretty and easy to explore.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Erie is my hometown and return each summer.
Erie is my hometown and return each summer. The Peninsula is nice, Waldameer amusement and water park is great for families, fishing and boating are popular, lots of shopping on Upper Peach Street. The zoo is very nice, plenty of golf courses, The Warner Theater rivals anything that I've been to in NYC, several independent restaurants and bars. Sometimes traffic is slow, several homes in the heart of town are well over 100 years old, sidewalks not maintained. Lake Erie sunsets on the beach can't be beat. In general, it's a nice summer destination.Guest review byJaneUnited States - 4.0

Nice town but very conservative with some Trump like bigotry. Nightlife was very little and not much of an atmosphere. We went to visit Dorney Park which was the highlight of the stay and we really enjoyed it. The water park and water rides close on August 31st as a daily thing. The park then opens only at weekends for the Halloween Haunt which was amazing and well recommended. Real graveyard sets with actors playing Zombies with Halloween attractions that are full of scares. Universal Studios 'Halloween Horror Night' were not as good as this and clearly taken the whole idea from 'Six Flags' Who are the company that owns Dorney Park We also recommend the Lost River Caves. Other than that there is nothing of real interest there. The town is pretty much 1970s in its design and attitude. Next time we go to Dorney Park we shall stay in Philadelphia as it is one hour drive each way. Do not stay in Allentown if you identify yourself or any member of your group as LGBT+ as you will not feel welcome.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
The Gettysburg National Park is a must see for everyone!
The Gettysburg National Park is a must see for everyone! There is so much history in this little town. Go to the Visitor Center for sure. They have a museum and bus tours available. There are also horse back riding tours available. There are many options to purchase audio for a self guided auto tours available on line too. Highly recommend visiting Sachs Bridge, Little Round Top and the Eisenhower farm. When you're not on the battle field, there are numerous places to eat and places to shop. Also, bring a nice camera for some amazing photos.Guest review bySara SLUnited States - 10.0

Our stay was brief, one afternoon and evening, in Hersey, we stayed just in the park for that time. The park was amazingly clean. We went on a week day, was not too crowded. I had wished there were gluten free food options. The food selections for those with food sensitivities was very difficult.Guest review byJudy JoUnited States - 10.0
