Make sure you bring warm clothes even in the summer as it gets really chilly. Ate at Fog Harbor. Food was really good. Went to Oracle Park. Always a good time at the ball park. Walked through the Warf. Always good to take a Cable Car ride. Go to Alcatraz is a must. Have an Irish Coffee at the Buena Vista.Guest review bydianeUnited States - 10.0

Nothing was too too far just about 14mins out by car which is not bad.i cooked in my hotel with provided pots and skillet and utensils and sooon and spatula to take hot foods out I did not spend money out to eat I saved money cooking for my children. Definitely the legoland discovery center at the great mall, sky zone which was only 39 mins away from hotel Homewood suites San Jose/santa Clara.Guest review byChristy - 6.0

Although we had passed through Santa Cruz previously, this was our first stay. Candidly, the town felt quite run down and in some places downright shabby. We were staying principally to visit the Roaring Camp Railroad and Scotts Valley, ultimately on our way to San Francisco. If we were staying in the area again, we would stay in the much more attractive town of Capitola, just a few minutes South of Santa Cruz.Guest review byAnthonyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The hotel room was well-appointed with large TV, comfy bedding and shower gel/shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The location is perfect as it's close to the SFO airport and great dining experiences to choose from in the area.Guest review byAdrienneUnited States - 8.0
The area of South San Francisco where the hotel is located...
The area of South San Francisco where the hotel is located is fine for taking lonely walks around what is essentially a business park, but there's not much to walk to. (There is a Starbucks and a few restaurants about 1/4 mi. to the north.) South San Francisco's downtown, which has a train station that takes you to the airport or downtown San Francisco francisco, contains restaurants open in the evening, is on the other side of the railroad tracks and a little hard to get to unless you're a jogger.Guest review byMarkUnited States - 10.0
Napa is absolutely beautiful no matter where you drive.
Napa is absolutely beautiful no matter where you drive. The weather was warm but still very comfortable. Downtown Napa is a great spot to eat, walk around, and shop, with a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone we met was friendly, and the wineries are fantastic! Getting around is easy, but if you're planning to visit multiple wineries, I highly recommend hiring a wine driver; it’s super convenient and a great way to learn more about the area and its wine culture.Guest review byHazelUnited States - 6.0
I got a chance to spend time with my youngest son.
I got a chance to spend time with my youngest son. I'm gluten free and we were able to find a wonderful hole in the wall cafe called Aburaya, 362 17th street in downtown Oakland. They have the best Gluten free fried chicken I have ever tasted. Unfortunately the streets in downtown Oakland have litter eveywhere. I stayed in a nice quirky boutique hotel on 12th St. called Oaktown Roost, which was very comfortable but I had to pay $40 a night to park across the street in a locked parking lot.Guest review byMaryUnited States - 10.0

Enjoyed live jazz music on Murphy Street and, spent way too much money at Gumbas, A historical landmark of Murphy Street. Serving tasty Italian food Best pizza you can find. Look for the red checkered tables outside and you're there. Sunnyvale and Mountain View are both my homes. Born and raised here. Sunnyvale has a lot to offer for all visitorsGuest review bydanaUnited States - 10.0
Lots of wonderful restaurants in the area.
Lots of wonderful restaurants in the area. California Street a little north of the Dinah's is closed to traffic at least on the weekends. Many restaurants along California Street, University Ave. etc. We had dinner at a wonderful Pakistani Restaurant -- Zareen's. good value, very friendly atmosphere. Nearby Stanford Shopping Center, Stanford University. Also plenty to see and do on campus including museum. Great weather.Guest review byAdrienneUnited States - 10.0

There was so much to see and do around town, highly recommend visiting the Charles M Schultz museum, there was so much we learned about him and his contributions to the community. There's plenty of options for restaurants, you can find everything from bbq to fine dining. Plenty of wineries within an easy drive of our hotel.Guest review byDenike
