Has to be Grand Ole Opry for a must do in Nashville. Lived up to expectations! Down town music area very much as ecpected. Nashville was much more affluent than we were expecting. Pigeon Forge was very nice even got to see a car show. I can't say enough good about the Island a beautiful and peaceful place. Ruby Falls was the highlight of our stay.
Ruby Falls was the highlight of our stay. A "must see" in Chattanooga, but you have to make an appointment in advance online. We also enjoyed the Chattanooga Choo Choo Exibit downtown, Lunch nearby at the Tailgate Brewery was very excellent. Many tap beers to choose from. Only stayed 1 night to bring my daughter back to college Everything about the hotel and rooms was great except no microwave in the rooms we stayed in. The front desk staff was very nice and friendly. This is 5 years in a row we have vacationed or partially vacationed in The Smokys. It has become a family tradition and looks like something the kids will share with their families when the time comes. So much to do, always. Even after all our times down there, we still find things we have yet to do. Or something’s that are so much fun we keep doing them Definitely recommend a dinner show. Murfreesboro was awesome!
Murfreesboro was awesome! Our daughter is attending MTSU, and I feel comfortable with the campus and the surrounding environment. It felt safe and appeared to be a "family area". We are not "foodies", but we saw the variety of restaurants available in the area, and we tried a few and enjoyed the experience. We watched a movie at AMC, and it was the best experience; it was the highlight of our son's experience. We didn't have the time to go bowling or play golf, but next time we will.
