Staff were lovely and accommodating for a last minute booking, clean facilities right in the city centre. Really enjoyed our complimentary ca phe sua da and hu tieu for breakfast on the roof top overlooking the city.

    We loved the meticulous hardwood construction of our chalet; it was comfortable and cozy and our chalet was situated with good views. The whole environment was beautifully landscaped and a treat to the eyes, especially at Tet. Dinner - served amongst giant sunflowers - was tasty and Vietnamese breakfast was good. Our daughter loved the large waterpark. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

    Ca Mau City is a stopping-off place before heading to Ca Mau...

    Ca Mau City is a stopping-off place before heading to Ca Mau Cape and its adjacent mangrove forests. Be aware that Cau Mau Cape has especial cultural significance to Vietnamese or Vietnamese/Chinese peoples - westerners (foreigners) are a rarity at the Cape - there were only two there on the Sunday my wife and I visited the Cape (me plus one German solo traveller). If you are looking to find the Ca Mau City Bird Sanctuary, stop now - it no longer exists!! Ninty percent of the old bird sanctuary has been built over by the new President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Park and the remain 10% is no longer accessible to pedestrians (locked closed) due to the high concentration of venomous snakes.
