The staff were polite and helpful, bringing our luggage up to the room and providing a second keycard to allow us to keep the power on when we left so that our laundry run wouldn't be interrupted. There is ample parking space under the hotel for motorbikes, which was very helpful. The beds were very comfortable, and there were multiple fans in addition to the air conditioning unit. Having a washing machine/dryer was a massive plus as we arrived after riding through a heavy downpour and needed to dry a lot of our clothes! There was plenty of shops/places to eat in the surrounding area. Would stay again.

    One could not ask for a better host. He made my stay on Ly Son very enjoyable. He has a map of the island prepared for those of is who like to walk. He booked ferry tickets and a snorkeling trip me. He picks us up and drops us at the ferry. He answers all of his messages promptly. Although not entirely sound proof i slept very well. He went out of his way to give me a room on the top floor. It has a lovely view of the fishing port. The rooms is very clean. It has hooks, tables and a wardrobe. Market is close by and delicious com tam restaurant almost across the street.

    Even though the staff couldn't speak English they bent over backwards to help. The room was huge but tired. The bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor. The whole place is tired and dated but location is excellent. Breakfast was fabulous.

    Great base to visit the Son My Massacre Memorial and My Khe...

    Great base to visit the Son My Massacre Memorial and My Khe beach. You won't meet many foreign tourists here but the local people are very friendly and happy to chat with Google Translate. The city market is also worth a visit and the local food stalls are great. This is a pleasant city well away from the usual tourist circuit but conveniently on the main Hanoi - Saigon railway line. Good, clean accommodation available. Local buses are reliable and there's plenty of taxis.
