- From US$2,197.06 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 10.0Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 35 reviewsSimply great. Great location in many senses - the reserve itself (only 1 hour from the airport PLZ), the location of the manor in the reserve and of course the reserve as a biodiverse paradise. Food - great - suprisingly great we have to say. The Manor is spacious, our room was much larger than expected. It had a terrace facing the open reserve where you could see animals from a distance after a shower or having a coffee. The buildings have a modern country style touch, are very welcoming, open and invite to relax. There is "the usual" 5-star stuff to do, if you are not on a game drive (pool, spa, gym, etc). Which is great if you have a partner or you are in a group with people that are not into game drives as much - they will have a proper 5-star hotel experience and be able to relax anyway. - This is a main difference to camps with tents and less luxurious equipment. Staff is very friendly - nice concept of the ranger having breakfast with you afterwards so you can reflect upon what you have seen. Children - there is another camp in the reserve that is especially family friendly - I forgot the name - ask the reserve, they will tell you.Guest review byClemensUnited Arab Emirates
- From US$593.31 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 578 reviewsWe stayed in 3 of the four tents which were beautifully furnished with everything one could need. The views and the gardens and the giant Figtree are spectacular. The rooms are hot during the day because the doors much be kept closed if you’re not in your tent due to the naughty monkeys and baboons! The food and service were outstanding. Cia, our guide for our safari into Addo Elephant Park was fantastic, fun and incredibly knowledgeable - worth the price for sure. Breakfast is included in the price - all other meals not but reasonable. The pool is spotlessly clean and chilly - a nice cool off after a game drive. Definitely want to come back with my family one day.Guest review bymargaretUnited States
- From US$240.70 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 138 reviews- very friendly staff - comfortable and large room with all amenities it requires - two nice pools, a larger and a smaller one - authentic breakfast, we especially liked the Uganda Rolex dish :) - close proximity to Addo Elephant Park main entrance - Management pro-actively mentioning the proximity of a gravel road close by where there's potential louder truck traffic (but was not a problem at all) - also, as there is no dinner available, the Elephant House already reserved us a table in a restaurant near by - excellent service! - large grocery shopping facility within 5min driveGuest review byPatrickSwitzerland
- From US$742.41 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 106 reviewsUniquely Situated in the Addo Concession (extra fees & charges - but they're well worth it!) We booked Cottage 1 - Private Pool, Outdoor Shower Staff are excellent - from Veronique and Jenna right to the servers and our Game Driver "Micky-Lea" (sp? 🫣) 5 ⭐️ hospitality - they seriously are accommodating and seeking to make the guest experience, the best possible Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the early a.m. sunrises and evening sunsets on the property. - From US$1,827.01 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 163 reviewsWhen I looked where to stay at Addo I wanted a place that maximized the wildlife without me having to drive anywhere and Gorah did exactly that. We sat at the hotel all day and we experienced the most amazing wildlife at the waterhole. And at the same time Gorah staff exemplary in their service and kindness. The food superb right down to my wife’s diabetic requirements at all times and we were made to feel that nothing was too much.Guest review byBobbySouth Africa
- From US$340.17 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 189 reviewsThis is an authentic Rustic bush camp : the tents were spacious and very clean. Comfy beds. Owners and staff very interactive with all of the guests and very welcoming. Their host Dimitri was such a pleasure to deal with and really went out of his way to be of assistance. Game drive into Addo Wildlife Park was great : Ranger Brighton was very informative. We spent 2 lovely days at Kudu Ridge.Guest review byGuestAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 105 reviewsWe enjoyed our stay here. The whole hotel crew is lovely and attentive. Unfortunately we had cold water in the shower but the manager personally took care of it and within 30 minutes the problem was solved. We were also offered another room as an alternative. The manager is very concerned about his guests. Very nice to see something like this and to feel valued as customer!Guest review byMarcLuxembourg

We have been to Addo probably 40 times and just never get enough of it, and once again on rare occassions, saw a lioness up close. As always there were plenty of Buffalo, Elephant, Zebra, Red Hardebeest, Warthog, Kudu, and oh! a Hyena!Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

My stay at Adventure Apartment, Colchester was truly wonderful. The space was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and offered a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax and unwind. Every detail from the serene surroundings to the warm and welcoming ambiance, was thoughtfully arranged. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and a touch of elegance. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting againGuest review byMemory ZodwaSouth Africa - 8.0
We liked the venue. The environment is beautiful.
We liked the venue. The environment is beautiful. The road was a challenge, but we knew that we had to come with a 4x4 vehicle and the men knew how to drive on a 4x4 route. It was raining when we arrived and it was cold, but everybody should know not to travel without a jacket.Guest review byRiaanNamibia - 10.0

We did an afternoon Giraffe walk through Bellevue Lodge and it was amazing - we were taken on a safari vehicle onto a game reserve and from there had to find the grazing giraffe. Once we spotted them, we drove close by and then got out of the vehicle to walk close (but not too close) to the giraffe to watch them eat their dinner. It was a lovely experience, and our guide Stephen was knowledgeable and friendly, answering all our questions. We stayed at the Bellevue Lodge for 1 night, it was a lovely small property with friendly staff.Guest review bySusanSwitzerland - 10.0
The accommodation was lovely and very kids friendly.
The accommodation was lovely and very kids friendly. We had an amazing time, very relaxing, kids loved the pool and all the lego. Game drive was an absolute favorite with drinks at a lovely view point. The staff is friendly and we enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone to relax and rewind!Guest review byNienkeSouth Africa - 8.0
Addo was lovely, and the map was easy to navigate.
Addo was lovely, and the map was easy to navigate. I could easily do two days in the Addo and it's full of surprises. Make sure to go to the bathroom at the beginning, because toiletbreaks are far inbetween. Make sure your devices are fully charged and you have backup, because you'll be taking a lot of pics. Currently the roadworks to Addo makes it a longer drive, but all goo.Guest review byLydiaSouth Africa - 10.0

We stayed at Dungbeetle River Lodge for 2 nights while visiting Addo. We arrived in the late afternoon and then took a full day game drive from the lodge. It was a bit much for us and would do a morning game drive next time. The experience was awesome, it was just too long for our pensioner bodies! Staying 2 nights was perfect because the evening gave us a nice recovery period before we hit the road for our return to Cape Town. Dungbeetle River Lodge was a perfect location from which to travel into Addo. It's literally 3 minutes from the south gate of the park.Guest review byCharlesSouth Africa - 10.0
Everything was quite on point.
Everything was quite on point. From the receptionist service to the restaurant food and the tour around the park and service from the tour guide. Enjoyable, you will enjoy this if you love nature but probably go for the morning tour, there may be lions then.Guest review byDingiswayo - 4.0

Not a quaint little tourist town, and somewhat disappointed with our stay (for choice of shops, restaurants and ease of access to the river, lack of info for St Croix marine reserve). The Sand dunes are spectacular, but also not easy to access as on private property. The day visit permit is affordable (via Pearson resort) yet this information is not easily available to visitors. Close proximity to Addo South Gate which is great. Some marketing PR would go a long way!Guest review byCherylSouth Africa
