- From US$151.37 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 261 reviewsThis acommodation has excelled our expectations. It was unfortunate that for us it was only a passage, before arriving to Sabi Sands and our game drives. We actually arrived at the property after 8pm, knowing that we would leave at 8am of the next day, and regreting the fact that we wouldn't spend too much time in such a beautiful place. The property as a whole is a little piece of heaven, with it's own small animals - ducks, impalas, chickens, cats, dogs... - wondering around while you have your breakfast (must be reserved in pre-advanced and paid on the check-out), well cooked by the kind staff of the place. The room is beautiful, you can see that each corner was thinked and tried, with a wonderful decoration anywhere you put your eyes on. There is a bedroom/living room, with a bed - and the sheets, the pillows, the blankets - very soft and warm, There is a lot of space for luggage and stuff as well. You will also have a beautiful bathtub and an outdoor shower, a kitchen outside, and a beautiful and cozy wooden table to chill out, if you want. Amazing.Guest review byGabrielBrazil
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,583 reviewsThe location is amazing, and the staff/owners are really friendly. We stayed in the smallest cottage wich was obviously just a small cottage with nothing too amazing, but every detail is taken care of. Feels very comfertable. Also, the breakfast is really good. Price to value of this place is incredibly good. Stayed in much more expensive places that where much less good.Guest review byJoeriNetherlands

Nature is beautiful.
Nature is beautiful. Everything about Graskop is natural like God's Window, different waterfalls and so on. I had a great weekend and we couldn't visit all the beautiful places because of time.Guest review byPinkySouth Africa - 10.0

Waterval Self-Catering Holiday Home exceeded all our expectations! The house is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and stress-free stay. From the cozy bedrooms to the fully stocked kitchen, every detail has been thoughtfully prepared. What makes this place truly special is its breathtaking natural setting. Surrounded by peaceful scenery, with the sound of flowing water and the sight of abundant birdlife, it felt like the perfect escape from the busy world. We enjoyed relaxing outdoors, having a braai, and soaking up the tranquility while still being close to shops and attractions when needed. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home while giving us the privacy to enjoy the property at our own pace. It’s ideal for families, groups of friends, or couples looking for a romantic getaway. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and eager to return. If you’re looking for a hidden gem that combines comfort, beauty, and warm hospitality, Waterval Self-Catering Holiday Home is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!Guest review byMamothibeliLesotho - 10.0

Booked a 1 night stay for my family of 4 at Forever Blyde River Canyon. The viewpoint was exceptionally beautiful. The pool area is really nice and the overall resort is very clean and well maintained. Quiet and peaceful. The 4 sleeper chalet is not something I would book again in it's current state.Guest review bySHARIFA - 10.0

Kampersrus is about 30Kms from Blyde River Canyon so if you have activities planned there, it’s the perfect budget friendly town to stay at. I highly recommend it. The only downside is that it has limited shops, and the shop closes at 6pm. After that you’ll have to drive to nearby towns for restaurants etcGuest review byLisaSouth Africa - 6.0
It is an eco lodge so everything works off solar.
It is an eco lodge so everything works off solar. There was only 1 x unit with a fridge which is a problem if you are self catering as one needs to keep food and meat refrigerated. Wi-fi knocked out by storm but we weren't pre-warned that it was out and there is no signal there at all.Guest review byDeniseSouth Africa - 4.0

I have heard on the radio that Pilgrim's Rest was 'revamped" a few years ago, but what a disappointment. Great strides were made to install shopping units for the local traders to sell their goods - but all of the traders were selling the exact same African Art. We were there on a Saturday, and most of the other museum-like shops were closed. It was a ghost town. The local pub was open, and we had a drink. There are only two shops you can buy something from, and they seem reasonably priced, but I will not waste my time. Sadly, no one can think outside the box to liven up the place. It has so much potential!Guest review byMinxSouth Africa - 10.0
What a safe and friendly town?
What a safe and friendly town? Everyone literally willin to assist. Somethin so rare in the world lately. I'm in awe Loved our own host at CozyBox, Mampho Elijah from Autumn Breeze a great help to find a bus to OR Edward and Errol from Graskop Hotel assisted us to get to Nelspruit on time for the bus The food from Kuier was delicious The corn from the street lady next to Spar was the bestGuest review byBeverleySouth Africa - 6.0

It was great to see all the sights around the area such as Bourkes Potholes, Mac Mac Falls, Graskop & Gods Window which we hadn’t seen for over 30 years. However I wouldn’t stay in Sabie again & would have preferred a farm or country house to stay at.Guest review byRoySouth Africa - 10.0

Kampersrus is a rural residential town with a definite bush character. The area is divided into plots of different sizes where several guest houses, lodges and private residences were developed. The town is flanked by wildlife reserves on both sides, so at night you hear lion and hyena. The whole village has beautiful views on the mountains.Guest review byJohan_L7South Africa
