Struisbaai is a wonderful place to stay, it is small and has all the facilities one could need, restaurants, shopping, chemist etc. I loved the harbour, and being a photographer this is a wonderful place to stay. It also has beautiful beaches and lots of places to walk, I felt safe at all times.Guest review byEILEENSouth Africa - 10.0

Agulhas is a quiet beautiful little town with wonderful places to eat and visit. The people of Agulhas are friendly and the sea view is lovely, lots of walking paths and an animal friendly environment. The southernmost point of Africa where the two oceans meet and it is part of the National Parks Council. You'll discover fascinating ecological habitats, shipwrecks, national monuments and signs of ancient settlements in this nature conservation area.Guest review byPAULENESouth Africa - 8.0
Breakfast buffet and beaches were lovely.
Breakfast buffet and beaches were lovely. The arniston cave is a beauty and must see. It is a bit scary going to the cave. We did not have time to walk around in the neighbourhood but the place seemed quiet and safe. We visited Cape Agulhas and there were more restaurants nad food options. Arniston does not have a variety of lunch and supper options for our pallet. The spa at Arniston is also great. The lamb shank is delicious at Arniston. I would have like a bigger variety with the pizza options. I would advise people to visit the beaches, go to the smaller towns in the area to get to know the peolple better.Guest review byLyla J 11South Africa - 10.0

This was my 1st visit to Bredasdorp and because I was nervous about travelling with my dog, I didn't spend much time in the town itself. Of what I did see, I was impressed as it's well developed with all amenities.Guest review byAlanSouth Africa - 10.0
Beautiful reserve with wildlife and stunning scenery.
Beautiful reserve with wildlife and stunning scenery. Some nice walks and routes for mountain biking. Beaches are great to look at but didn’t look safe for swimming. Range of accommodation options and an excellent restaurant.Guest review byTheophilusUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Great location. Amazing beach, ocean and rockpools. The house is basic but clean and well equipped. A minor problem was resolved very fast by the hosts . Nice brewery in a walking distance. Cute , well stocked supermarket - also very close. We had a great and relaxing stayGuest review byVikSouth Africa - 10.0

The shops is very close to our destination, lots of places to eat, we had break fast at the Old cape restaurant on the Main road, The air is very clean and healthy to breath in, and its very easy to get around Struisbaai, up to Cape Agulhas points, via the main road.Guest review byRichards - 10.0

The Lighthouse museum is a must to visit, as is the Africa map at the southernmost tip - hopefully they will cover it in brass as it's degrading. A sunset walk was beautiful in the evening, and the tidal pools warm for swimming.Guest review byLouiseUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A charming little village with friendly people.
A charming little village with friendly people. Lovely to walk around and explore, with stunning views around every corner... Our spa experience was very good, so much so that we went back for a second treatment. Bredasdorp was an eye opener - if you enjoy history you must visit the Shipwreck Museum and Bredasdorp Square has a lovely restaurant and courtyard with delicious food on offer, plus a gift shop you could get lost in (not to mention bankrupt yourself)! The drive to De Mond nature reserve was well worth it (the dirt road is in good condition) and it is wild and remote with few people to be seen. It's also worth visiting Cape Agulhas to see the lighthouse and walk on the boardwalk. The nearby Struisbaai beaches are gorgeous.Guest review byHansenSouth Africa - 8.0

The town is very clean and has all the major retailers there and a few restaurants. Many of the houses are beautifully maintained with lovely gardens. The Shipwreck Museum is excellent and well worth the low entrance fee.Guest review byGazz OBSouth Africa
