- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 350 reviewsMy husband and I had been planning to stay at this hotel for a long time. We expected a lot from Holden Manz and we were not disappointed at all. The hotel is managed with maximum attention to details and has a special vibe. The breakfast they offer is a miracle, not the boring egg dishes but really special dishes on the menu. The wine tasting was also wonderful. Thank you very much we really enjoyed our stay there. In addition, we were greeted by three Hungarian vizsla which made us feel good because we are Hungarian :)Guest review bySzabolcsHungary

The rooms (hut) are a bit outdated but that didn’t spoil the fun for 1 second! the views are beautiful, the pool, the bonfire dinner, the activities all so amazing. the best thing was the staff! pretty much every single member of staff watched my son Noah for me at some point so I could enjoy my time. a special shout out to ranger Paul who went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay! thank you Kagga Kamma <3Guest review byCarienNetherlands
- From US$626 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 121 reviewsVery comfortable room with outdoor seating area. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were the only ones staying and had a chance to view the upstairs rooms. These appear small on the website however would also be very comfortable. Highly recommended as a very comfortable place to stay. The location is reasonably close to the main street however most may prefer to drive in and out. Will definitely return to Grande Provence.Guest review byhelenUnited Arab Emirates

A most delightful vibrant little town, one needs to remember it is a student town, so if staying close to clubs and pubs, going to be a little noisy. Great shopping and eating experiences. Traffic quite crazy though.Guest review bySHIRLEYSouth Africa - 10.0

It's an area that has the feel of a small city and surrounded by beautiful nature reserves, wine, fruit and livestock farms as well as many hiking and mountain bike trails. It has everything you need and it's wonderful to spend time in a place that is close to nature.Guest review byEveSouth Africa - 10.0

Very cute, has some nice shopping centres, nicely located between Cape Town and Stellenbosch, nothing is a far drive. There can be some traffic on week days though, but if you leave earlier in the morning it's fine. Quiet place, easy to drive around or get an uber. Lots of wine farms near by and some great restaurants (trip advisor and google both have good lists for these). Some great hikes that are nearby as well.Guest review byIrvineCanada - 8.0

An attractive country town nestling in the Langeberg mountains. A Spar and other shops are there and fuel available. The Cape Dry dried fruit activity is in the town. The Museum and NGZ Mission church were interesting. Street cleanliness was quite good- little litter. We felt safe walking around in the daytime.Guest review byJohnSouth Africa - 10.0

We have stayed for a long weekend in Melkbosstrand and for the past 5 years each January in Strand. The area around Strand and the beach is nice, even though it can get very busy - it is a nice place to stay and lots of things to do.Guest review byDirk-JanSouth Africa - 8.0
Historical, but also lots of wineries etc.
Historical, but also lots of wineries etc. Not much to do if you're not a foodie, or outdoorsy, probably, but if you are, it's a bit different to the usual wineries. Great place for a stopover on your way back to Cape Town. The town has gone to effort to put itself on the tourist map, which is commendable.Guest review byLuschkaUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Tranquility but the roads was not good at all.
Tranquility but the roads was not good at all. For non residents of Cape Town you should take into account that it is quite far from Cape Town centre and the price for Transport transfers are very high. Please do not try Aquila the price is relatively very very high and not worth it.Guest review byHeemandanee DeviMauritius - 8.0

It was my first time visiting Worcester and i was amazed by the cleanliness of the town even in the townships. The area is safer and most places i visited, i was greeted with great service. The place has lots of places to visit. If you are a wine enthusiast, then you would enjoy some wine tasting places. I also enjoyed coffee shops and town lifestyle.Guest review byWelcomeSouth Africa
