My husband and I always stay in the hotel when we are in Stellenbosh. The location is perfect right in the middle of the town, so many restaurants and bars around but it’s so quiet inside. Breakfast is very nice and delicious, so many options available . We loved avo toasts and eggs Benedict. If the weather is warm enough you can sit in the beautiful courtyard. One important thing is the room was very warm and cozy which is very nice because of the weather in August was terrible it was rainy and cold outside. The stuff is very nice and friendly. The service is high level, they even prepared our room every night to sleep comfortable which was very impressive. You just feel all the time that the staff takes care of you. It was lovely to stay in the hotel. Looking forward to come back again.

Me and my wife had an amazing stay here. We were impressed by the beautiful surroundings and the peaceful atmosphere. The villa itself is really spacious, beautiful stylish, and impeccably clean, offering everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The views were absolutely breathtaking, overlooking mountains—perfect for enjoying a morning coffee, breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. The location is great, providing escape while still being close to the heart of Franschhoek. The staff is warm, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request, making sure everything was perfect. Special thanks to Esme! Overall, I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious, tranquil, and memorable getaway in Franschhoek. We loved it so much that we decided to go back to it for our last night in South Africa!

The staff was incredible, and our stay there was like a dream. the rooms are better than the photos. it was so good that we decided to book another night after we got there. I would recommend that you book things like golf and wine tasting in advance and not wait until the last second like we did as we didn't have room for the wine tasting. other then that it was perfect.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by this place and the hospitality. The owner Justin greeted us warmly with a handshake, checked us in, and personally gave us a detailed tour of our room and all its amenities. The room is spacious, extremely well-appointed, and very comfortable, with a gorgeous view. The grounds and surrounds are stunning, especially the beautifully serene pool area. Everything has been clearly well thought out -- an excellently managed place. We don't normally dine at our accommodations, but we made an exception here, and we were very glad we did -- the food was top notch. Breakfast was also really wonderful. I can't say enough good things about this place!

the wide open space of the main building with Restaurant and Lounge facilities. The nature of the surrounding gardens/lake views as well as the outdoor pool facilities. Free breakfast and mini bar are a welcome addition to the price package. Save parking for our car and enough walk ways on the property are also appreciated, as well as the heating/aircon was great to keep the winter chill at bay.

I grew up in Paarl but has retired to Lamberts bay down the west-coast so visiting Paarl is always a "home from home" outing. Always a pleasure coming back. This was a quick visit so we didnt have time to visit any of the "offerings" Paarl has and it has many but next time we will stay longer to visit some again.

Very cute, has some nice shopping centres, nicely located between Cape Town and Stellenbosch, nothing is a far drive. There can be some traffic on week days though, but if you leave earlier in the morning it's fine. Quiet place, easy to drive around or get an uber. Lots of wine farms near by and some great restaurants (trip advisor and google both have good lists for these). Some great hikes that are nearby as well.

An attractive country town nestling in the Langeberg mountains. A Spar and other shops are there and fuel available. The Cape Dry dried fruit activity is in the town. The Museum and NGZ Mission church were interesting. Street cleanliness was quite good- little litter. We felt safe walking around in the daytime.

Historical, but also lots of wineries etc. Not much to do if you're not a foodie, or outdoorsy, probably, but if you are, it's a bit different to the usual wineries. Great place for a stopover on your way back to Cape Town. The town has gone to effort to put itself on the tourist map, which is commendable.
