We needed a hotel close to the airport and ARH offered free transfers to and from. Johannesburg is a little scary at night and we were pleased to have safe transfers and to be within a gated community at the hotel. Beautiful hotel - few rooms and very comfortable and modern.

The staff is very efficient and friendly and made me feel welcome. My room was clean and the bed very comfortable with good quality bedlinen. The location is very good, especially for travellers with long layovers between flights. The free shuttle service is a big bonus. The drivers were very polite and on time.

    It was very clean, quiet and close to the airport. I organised a shuttle past regular hours easily enough and the driver was very friendly. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was good. I liked that they also offered me a complimentary shuttle to the Gautrain station after my stay.

    Southern Sun is an excellent computer hotel on the doorstep of OR Tambo airport. The rooms are comfortable and the shuttle service from and to the terminal is very good. The hotel has all the amenities business travellers require including a gym and pool. The bar and restaurant are also excellent. Most important of all, the staff are happy and efficient.

    The location is perfect closer to a lot of facilities like East Rand Mall which is so enormous and has a variety of stores from food stores to pharmaceuticals like dischem and clicks. Additionaly, Boksburg has lovely attractions and different activities which one can engage in to create fun lasting memories. 👌💯

    The establishment exceeded my expectations, and from the time that I met Karin, (Manager on Duty), who offered to upgrade my booking at no extra cost, to the lovely breakfast served by Faith and Barbara (Also a Manager on duty), my stay was awesome and relaxing by the pool was a highlight for two of my 4 days there, as it was overcast and cloudy for the first two days. I can highly recommend 6 on Acacia for travellers and holiday makers all over the country. Bedfordview is the place to be. You Rock!!

    Close to the airport. Free shuttle was great and easy to find. Bed was comfortable. Rooms very old and dated. Rickety furniture, very old bathroom. Not that clean. Food was very average. Complex is closed off with electric gates.

    Area has deteriorated hugely in just the last 3 years since my last visit. It has become one glorified squatter camp with filth everywhere, few robots working, lines on roads barely visible and people living and working on the pavements. Old indoor people that was a great feature in old SA now looking like a dump. whole road from Benoni to Brakpan filled with shacks forcing you to drive off the road through shacks to get to Brakpan. UNbeleivable and they still vote these theives in to power.
