- From US$328.11 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,459 reviewsThe Fernery, located in Tsitsikamma National Park, is an exceptional property that offers unparalleled views of the ocean and the surrounding gorge. The natural beauty of the area is simply breathtaking and unlike anything we've ever seen before. Our two-night stay at The Fernery was an unforgettable experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. As a special touch for our honeymoon, they even upgraded us to an ocean-facing room which made our stay even more memorable. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The view from the room was simply spectacular, and we could spend hours simply gazing out at the ocean and the surrounding landscape. The peace and tranquility of the surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The bar at The Fernery was beautifully designed, and the fireplace provided the perfect setting for a cozy evening. The ambiance of the bar was warm and inviting, and we loved spending time there. One of the things we loved most about The Fernery was the sense of seclusion and privacy. Despite being located in the national park, it felt like a world away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The natural beauty of the surroundings provided a peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere that we will never forget. Overall, The Fernery is an exceptional property that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable stay in Tsitsikamma National Park. The breathtaking views, spacious and well-appointed rooms, attentive staff, and peaceful atmosphere make for a truly unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return and experience it all again.Guest review byTanyaIndia
- From US$1,362.35 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 669 reviewsFrom the moment you arrive here, you are treated like royalty. The check-in is slick and informative and you are given a clear itinerary for your stay. The facilities are beautiful and the restaurant area is really stylish, which is good, because the food is totally excellent and it fits in well! We travelled with two teenagers and the staff made sure they were happy as well. The game drives were lovely and our guide (Collin) was informative and good fun. He really made the trips interesting and he had really good knowledge. We had a bush villa and it was well appointed and beautifully situated, there was a nightly turn-down service and a good choice of coffee, tea etc on hand. The booklet you get on check in with the species lists is very useful and our teens loved filling it in. An added bonus here is that you drive yourself to and from the main lodge, which gives you a chance for an extra game drive each way. We saw quite a lot just getting too and from the main lodge.Guest review byK A MorrisonSouth Africa
- From US$153.70 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.9Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 8 reviewsWhat an excellent idea to book this magical place for one night. Chris the owner, was in Heidelberg by chance, met us and drove ahed of us to the villa. He gave us a great tour around the large property, which was a good idea, because the weather turned for the worse and we wouldn't have seen these beautiful vistas on the day of departure. Chris told us that he and his neighbour take good care of these large parcels of land, which mostly remain off bounds to tourists, are kept in their natural state and all non-indigenous trees are being removed. Our grandkids loved the villa's music-room and the biljart table. We all enjoyed being in this quiet, peaceful property that was filled with the owner's pieces of art, gathered from all or the world. We really felt that we were staying in someone's private home instead of in a holiday rental. Of course, as always, the big mistake was ,only book it for one night...Guest review byyokatCanada
- From US$1,193.51 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 281 reviewsThe resort was absolutely stunning — everything from the atmosphere to the details was top-notch. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the place felt very classy and well-maintained. Our room was beautiful with a lovely view, and the overall ambiance was simply unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special getaway. Although the golf cart service wasn't originally designated for guest transportation, the staff kindly made an exception for my mother due to the distance of her room. They provided her with a golf cart ride to ensure her comfort, and I truly appreciate this thoughtful gesture. It meant a lot to us and showed how caring and considerate the staff are.Guest review byAbdullahUnited Arab Emirates

Mossel Bay is an ideal holiday destination for travelers seeking a mix of the following : 1. Historical exploration 2. Stunning beaches 3. High-energy outdoor activities, watersports, mountain biking, golf, hiking 4. Good restaurants, with some live music entertainment 5. Cabin living on farms away from the city We have been visiting Mossel Bay for the last 30 years and continue to be one of our favorite holiday destinations, making it one of the most underrated stops along the Garden Route.Guest review byColinSouth Africa - 10.0

We all loved George. It is so close to so many attractions and beautiful areas. It is a good base to be at to do day trips. George is so clean, and no potholes. We wished that we had more time to look around. We had a fantastic meal at Cula restaurant.Guest review byRoslynAustralia - 10.0

Loved the view and i enjoyed climbing the stairs to our room. The room was cozy, bed very comfortable - had all we needed. All shops, restaurants and beach in walking distance, loved our beach strolls. The artist was busy with the most beautiful paintings within the subway leading to the beach. The breakfast at the place was delicious so we enjoyed dinner at The Blue Olive the Friday night and Ilali the Saturday night. We enjoyed the Saturday market, so many stalls.Guest review byTracySouth Africa - 10.0

Albertinia is a small country town without the big fast food...
Albertinia is a small country town without the big fast food take aways . Very rural . You can buy the basics at one of the cafes or Pizza place . There is not much as far as shops go so it is a stopover to break a long journey or a week or two of total peace and quite without too many modern day interruptions. There is a braai area and all you could want to have to have an enjoyable stop and a good night's sleep and no rush to get you out in the morning .. I simply bought rolls and cold meat and yogurt at Piet se kafee as I did not want to cook . Coffee is provided although if to a heavy coffee drinker you may want to buy a bit extra as most guest houses only give you enough for two or three cups of coffee . I had a nice chat with the owner who told me about the abundance of underground water and about the area in general...This is not a property where you can come in and drink and party and be a nuisance to others . . No smoking inside the chalets which is excellent @Guest review byMike du PlessisSouth Africa - 10.0
