Location, location, location This property is a small gem in the KwaZulu-Natal game reserve area. It has a small private game reserve where you can view giraffe, gnala, impala, wildebeest and tons of birds at a nice slow pace but is minutes away from others close by where you can view the big 5. The price/value ratio is excellent. The service is astoundingly good! Marli was just wonderful booking all the game drives that we wanted. Duiker has an excellent future ahead for itself.

Not exaggerating: This truly was the best accommodation of our whole holiday, in every perspective. Nice and spacy rooms with comfy beds, beautiful garden with outside pool, great common areas like living room and bar to meet with other people and fantastic dinner. But most importantly the hospitality of the owners, Jenny and Gavin, was absolutely amazing. They took us in like we were part of their family. They are taking very good care of their guests, preparing the perfect meals even taking into account any complicated allergies, sharing their stories and we had a lot of fun together. I would recommend Wendy’s country lodge to everybody coming to South Africa and this will be the first place I book when I’m visiting South Africa again.
