Our recent stay at Tsitsikamma Village Inn was nothing short of magical — a perfect blend of historic charm, natural beauty, and warm, welcoming service that made us feel instantly at home. The Inn is laid out like a quaint little village, with each room designed in a unique architectural style reflecting South Africa’s colonial past. Our room was cozy, spotlessly clean, and full of character, making it feel like we’d stepped into another era — but with all the modern comforts you'd hope for. Breakfast was a real treat. The options were plentiful — from fresh fruit and pastries to hearty cooked dishes and the best coffee we had on the Garden Route. Sitting out in the peaceful garden as the village woke up was the perfect way to start each day. One of the true highlights of our stay was dinner at Marilyn’s 60s Diner. The retro décor — with bright neon lights, vintage cars and motorcycles, and a soundtrack of 60s hits — was so fun and unexpected. But what made the evening truly special was Rosy, our server. She was absolutely exceptional — warm, attentive, and full of personality. She made us feel like VIPs, recommending the best dishes (the ribs were out of this world!) and making sure every detail was perfect. Rosy brought such energy and joy to the experience that we won’t soon forget her! The location is ideal for exploring the Tsitsikamma National Park with its iconic suspension bridge, ancient forests, and incredible hiking trails. The staff at the Inn were more than happy to help with directions, activity bookings, and personal recommendations. What sets Tsitsikamma Village Inn apart is how it combines nostalgia and character with genuine, heartfelt hospitality. It doesn’t just offer a place to sleep — it offers a story, an atmosphere, and a connection to the people and culture of the area. Five stars without a doubt — and a huge thank you to Rosy and the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to return!

To be right on the spot of such a perfect wave it s priceless for someone who loves surfing, but even if you r not a surfer trust me it s just amazing to be able to walk out the door, walk through the vegetation and be on such a beautiful beach! The house was super clean with all the confort, 2 bedrooms, the kitchen is super furnished, the staff always smiling and very kind, the common areas clean, well decorated, nice bbq available... You can also go to the upper part of the house where they have another common area that feels like a penthouse with great view over the bay. Supermarkets, shops, restaurants 2 blocks away. Especially Nina is the place to be for lunch and dinner, so beside the big stores you have everything you may need staying here...i wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Amazing Location. Right on the beach. Stunning views and the Villas are so big and comfortable with outdoors areas that shield the wind as well. Plunge pools are perfect and as a family having access via a gate worked perfectly for us. The team were so helpful and made check in and the dinner and breakfast we had from Joe's Fish Restaurant was great.

Beautiful setting and an easy drive after a day spent at Storms River mouth. Rooms large and comfy with views of the gorge. Plenty to offer: sauna, spa, pool, playground for kids - one night here was not long enough. Fantastic meals and a great wine cellar, the dining room with beautiful views of the gorge and waterfalls.

WOWWWW this place is AMAZING. the best view in JBay! Right in front of Supertubes! the room #1 is large with a 180 segree view on the ocean and a giant terrace. I wish we could stay there forever. Tania is a great host, always available and ready to accomodate all requests! Super!

It was beyond all our expectations. The staff was extremly helpful and kind. The location is excellent, was very nice walking in the green enviroment with all the animals. Highly recommend to stay in this wonderful, calm and lovely place.

Very nice place. The owners are very welcoming, kind, attentive and very friendly. The rooms are comfortable. The garden is so beautiful. Nice breakfast with a lot of choice. We loved our stay at Storms River Guest Lodge.

The view!!!! it’s simply amazing and could watch it forever. Also all the spaces/rooms are fantastic and have this beautiful view. Would surely recommend when visiting Jbay.

The owner was lovely and helped us with tour books and recommended places to eat. The common areas had loads of games that kept our kids entertained

The indoor swimming pool was brilliant. The room was spacious and it was very quiet in the area. Great place to stay!

Upon arrival we were upgraded to a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment on the beachfront. Very close to all amenities.
