The resort was absolutely stunning — everything from the atmosphere to the details was top-notch. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the place felt very classy and well-maintained. Our room was beautiful with a lovely view, and the overall ambiance was simply unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special getaway.
Although the golf cart service wasn't originally designated for guest transportation, the staff kindly made an exception for my mother due to the distance of her room. They provided her with a golf cart ride to ensure her comfort, and I truly appreciate this thoughtful gesture. It meant a lot to us and showed how caring and considerate the staff are.

We absolutely loved our stay at the bush villas – a beautiful, peaceful spot right in the heart of nature. Surrounded by wildlife and stunning scenery, it truly felt like a hidden gem. The setting was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff went out of their way to be nice and made the stay extra special.

We normally make use of Portao Diaz Hotel when we visit our family in Groot Brak River and George.
It is need and tidy and some of the people there remember us from visiting through the years. The view over the sea from our room, is each and every time my main thing in the mornings. I love the view.

Seeplaas was excellent. Will definitely go again. The room was clean and well laid out. The view and sound of the ocean is heavenly. Enjoyed breakfast every morning, also looking at the sea the whole time. Saw whales and dolphins playing right in front of seeplaas.

Main purpose of our visit was game watching.
Main purpose of our visit was game watching. And this turned out to be excellent. Being very lucky to spot all kinds of animals we had the privilage to be accompanied by an outstanding guide - „King David“. Knowledgeable, experienced, helpful and very friendly. Thanks a lot, David!
Suggestion for improvement: We missed dustbins and better cleaning service in our room…

Love the tranquility of the area.
Love the tranquility of the area. The beaches are pretty and clean. Dolphins appear often while walking the beaches in the morning. Scenery is amazing with the mountain view one side and the beach the other side.

Mossel Bay itself has so much to see and do and then you have all the little treasures on the outskirts of Mossel Bay. One that we found this weekend after visiting Mossel Bay for the last 15 years is the Butterfly Sanctuary on the R328 in Ruitersbos. Visit in summer to see the butterflies as in winter their numbers are far less. A must at the sanctuary is to meet Earle Whitely a world renowned butterfly expert.
