South AfricaIt felt like Italy, the restaurant on site made it easy to grab a proper meal, no need for Uber or unhealthy fast food, we enjoyed juicy and soft lamb chops, the beer was ice cold. The room was roomy and high water pressure showers. We had a small issue in the room, but they were quick to respond and solve it, I am very impressed.

Nelspruit is a well run city, s gateway for anyone passing through to Maputo-mozambique, Limpopo, the Kruger Park. The one bad thing about the place is lack of taxi services like Bolt or Uber locally. One has to do with the local minibus taxis which do not always service some areas and operate at set hours. There are some operators but charge speculative fares due to the absence of app based taxis. I'm told this is due to minibus taxi operators blocking their activities. Gorgeous escarpment and unusual rock formations. Great to see the wild horses and visit the magnificent waterfall. Excellent restaurant with the best Eisbein and beef goulash at Bohemian. Wonderful Sunday afternoon music too. Nice to meander through the village streets. Schoemanskloof is a beautiful area with stunning views and Waterfalls. There is a lot of nice affordable accomodation as well. We stayed at Klipinnibos which were absolutely wonderful!! We received a whatsapp message from the owner with...
We received a whatsapp message from the owner with directions and instructions when we get there. we followed the instructions only to get to the lodge and there was no one to sign Mr Mbhele in. numerous calls were made to the owner and the calls were not answered. Mr Mbhele ended up leaving the property to find alternative accommodation, an hour later the owner called saying he couldnt take the call as he was in a meeting. surely he knew he was expecting a guest, and after seeing 15 calls you should know there is an emergency, you excuse yourself from the meeting and deal with you guest. Instead he ask why did Mr Mbhele not get out of his car and ask around, who does that. you are from a long trip, you are tired, all you want to do is take a shower, have a meal and go sleep, here you asking why he didnt ask around, ASK WHO??? we went to do a marathon near nelspruit and made it a get away as well to see waterfalls around the area and we visited a few places in all the small towns around sabie, graskop, and took a trip on the long tom pass. NOTHING WRONG WITH THE HOST. HE TRIED HIS BEST TO ACCOMMODATE US. BOOKING.COM MADE A DOUBLE BOOKING. THE HOST OFFER US HIS OWN BEDROOM EN SUITE. WE BOOKED TWO ROOMS BECAUSE WE WERE 3 PEOPLE.
