Unfortunately, the breakfast was not as advertised, and 80% of the time, there was no one at the reception. While I was showering, the tabs electrocuted me. No dinner cause they ran out of supplies and had to eat breakfast for dinner and made me pay the full price while providing half of the advertised on the menu

    I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Club Cocomo! The island-like setup of the property creates such a serene and relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in the Haiti room, which was beautifully decorated, spacious, and offered stunning views. The property also boasts a lovely bar and a heated pool, which made it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The menu is affordable, with a variety of delicious options that didn’t break the bank. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The unique ambiance and all the amenities truly made it a memorable experience. I highly recommend Club Cocomo for anyone looking for a peaceful, affordable, and enjoyable getaway. I’ll definitely be back.

    Madikwe Hills was perfect. The quality of the food was very high - and they provided many options. Breakfast and lunch were delicious and dinner was next level. The quality of the house wine was good, and there were many, many options. The service was welcoming and exceptional, from start to finish. The Game drives were also good, and ranged from peaceful and educational, to downright thrilling. Trucks were comfortable, and ponchos and blankets provided as needed.

    The hotel was ideally situated. However, both access roads have been neglected by the current municipality. What a sad state of affairs with the blatant mismanagement we see in the Klerksdorp and surrounding suburbs.

    We stayed at The Kingdom resort. its a very well run operation with great facilities for kids and adults and is very close to the Pilanesberg Game reserve. It is much more cost effective than staying in the park which is exhorbitantly expensive

    Brits has great industry but the town itself is run down. They should replace the inactive traffic lights with roundabouts and should work in their roads and pavements and general upkeep of the area. It looks a mess.

    The protea hotel as a venue for my meeting was very good.

    The protea hotel as a venue for my meeting was very good. The service from this hotel was perfect t. I did not like the venue that I had booked into for the weekend. The drivers are very careless and do not follow road rules. Visited the mall which was very nice. Had breakfast at Wimpy and enjoyed this.

    Pilansberg is a 3 hour from Johannesburg.

    Pilansberg is a 3 hour from Johannesburg. It is easily accessible however the roads to the Pilansberg are not in great shape. It would be best to take a shuttle than to drive yourself. The park is fantastic with all the animals. We saw many lion, a leopard, many elephants, many rhino and lots more. I highly recommend.

    I attended the Glen Jones concert.

    I attended the Glen Jones concert. It was convenient to go to Sun City. It was 12 km away. The chalet was clean. If I had time we could had a braai. Also easy access as day visitor to Sun City. They offer game drives and games.

    Not a big town but since I was going to the villages I enjoyed a lot of open land driving and walking. The district is very big though. Although the name is fancy is not that upmarket town. Is a very welcoming town where everyone just fit in. I like the mixture of town and village setup.
