- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 20 reviewsThe location is second to none, incredible ocean and mountain vistas almost wherever you look, but what really made this experience something special are the staff, they are attentive, engaging and friendly. What really struck me about the staff is how much they actually care about your experience, always asking “can I help you with x” or “we can do y if that’s better for you” etc without skipping a beat!Guest review byMatthewSouth Africa

Hermanus is a stunning little town that we thoroughly enjoyed exploring! From the charming shops in the city centre to the wonderful restaurants and cafes, it truly is a special place to visit. We walked along the cliffs, admired the beautiful flowers, and watched so many whales enjoying the bay - whale season is truly a unique and unforgettable experience. We had a delicious dinner at Char’d and will definitely be back! We also visited some incredible wine farms, including Hamilton Russell Vineyards, La Vierge Wines, and Bouchard Finlayson Winery, to name a few. We loved the Hermanus Saturday market and found it easy to get around the town, especially if you have your own car. Hermanus is definitely a place worth visiting.Guest review byTaylaSouth Africa - 10.0

Kleinmond is a fantastic holiday destination to rest and explore the beauty of nature. The combination of sea, lagoon, mountains and fynbos as well as many pathways along the coast with longer hiking trails make Kleinmond a true gem of nature. Lovely coffee shops, restaurants and small shops make this coastal town very special. There are many activities for families - kayaking, hiking, swimming etc. Superb views and very well connected to nature.Guest review byMarietteSouth Africa - 10.0

Struisbaai is a wonderful place to stay, it is small and has all the facilities one could need, restaurants, shopping, chemist etc. I loved the harbour, and being a photographer this is a wonderful place to stay. It also has beautiful beaches and lots of places to walk, I felt safe at all times.Guest review byEILEENSouth Africa - 10.0
Stanford is a quaint, peaceful and very beautiful Village.
Stanford is a quaint, peaceful and very beautiful Village. It offers the chance to rekindle your oneness with nature and explore the beauty of the surrounding countryside and Reserves. Stanford offers a unique shopping experience, which seemingly encourages a more relaxed, ambient pastime. We were very privileged to be able to dine at Madre's, an iconic restaurant with food to match, a gastronomic experience in itself. There appears to be annual shows held in the town, those being the Flower Show and the Motor Shows, both of which appear to attract great interest from locals and holidaymakers alike. A beautiful and very special town, with its very own personality and charm.Guest review byCatharine ViceUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Felt like we were going back in time!
Felt like we were going back in time! So rustic, tranquil and relaxing. Blessed to know that places like this still exist! Horses roaming the streets, local markets and most venues, pet friendly! What more can one ask for?Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Breakfast buffet and beaches were lovely.
Breakfast buffet and beaches were lovely. The arniston cave is a beauty and must see. It is a bit scary going to the cave. We did not have time to walk around in the neighbourhood but the place seemed quiet and safe. We visited Cape Agulhas and there were more restaurants nad food options. Arniston does not have a variety of lunch and supper options for our pallet. The spa at Arniston is also great. The lamb shank is delicious at Arniston. I would have like a bigger variety with the pizza options. I would advise people to visit the beaches, go to the smaller towns in the area to get to know the peolple better.Guest review byLyla J 11South Africa - 6.0

For visiting the hot springs it is good, however it is expensive and you are better off staying in an Air BnB near by and visiting the springs in the day time. Bedrooms lack privacy and are prone to noise from the outside and neighbouring rooms well into the evening.Guest review byPatrick SymingtonSouth Africa
