We know already this resort. It´s a beautiful place and resort. Clean, spacious room as well as a beautiful bathroom, comfortable, lots of free outdoor, Excellent also for families with children. Next time we would go again only to this resort.

They have a full board package meaning whatever you paid includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and a morning and evening game drive. Everything for my 5 year old child was free. There's a kiddies play area with swings and trampoline and a kiddies room . Swimming pool . Saturdays they have a boma braai for those who love their pap and meat.

I first came to Kwa Maritane in 2015 and have been longing to come back! May I just say that coming back did not disappoint at all! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and well maintained (even things like the minigolf which usually ho forgotten). There’s many facilities, from the 2 pools, to the tennis court, mini golf, hide (to watch the animals) and so much more. The staff is so kind and welcoming and the game drives are just the best. The rangers are so knowledgeable and will really do anything in their power to show you the coolest wildlife! Let’s not forget the great buffet, very varied and delicious food. Last but not least, the rooms!! Omgggg we had the most beautiful and spacious room with a balcony. I cannot wait to come back

    We stayed at The Kingdom resort. its a very well run operation with great facilities for kids and adults and is very close to the Pilanesberg Game reserve. It is much more cost effective than staying in the park which is exhorbitantly expensive

    Pilansberg is a 3 hour from Johannesburg.

    Pilansberg is a 3 hour from Johannesburg. It is easily accessible however the roads to the Pilansberg are not in great shape. It would be best to take a shuttle than to drive yourself. The park is fantastic with all the animals. We saw many lion, a leopard, many elephants, many rhino and lots more. I highly recommend.

    Sunvillage mall is 20 mins away and Moruleng Mall was about 30-40 mins drive. If you are looking for ATM's and a shopping center Sun village is the closest and you'll find any food items, you need at Spar and fast-food restaurants like Galito's, Macdonalds and KFC.

    The location is within driving distance from Sun City. The room was large enough and suitably furnished. We had quite a variety to choose from for breakfast. The staff was quite friendly and yet respected our privacy. The establishment is neat, and in a safe and secure area

    Spec of the property was great but couldn't use the oven and...

    Spec of the property was great but couldn't use the oven and hob at the same time, could only use one or the other. Our stay was spoiled by loud music (from a local commercial disco) until at least 3 in the morning on our first night & way after 22 on our second night. Wouldn't stay here again purely due to these points.

    The overall experience was amazing and Suncity is captivating with its African beauty. The only downside is that the general quality of food at the various hotel pools have dropped post covid. All in all definitely a world class resort.

    Its an amazing place anchored by Sun City ... I believe that Sun City should also partner with locals to create curated events and property for Internationals to enjoy and be immersed in the true culture of the villages and townships in their authenticity.

    Pilansberg Game reserve is falling apart, literally.

    Pilansberg Game reserve is falling apart, literally. This will be our last trip and we have been going for 15+jears. The road to the reserve is horrific but worse is the roads in the reserve itself. The "tarred" sections or what's left of it is one pothole after another, not pleasant to drive at all, even at the 40km speed limit in the reserve. Hides are becoming dangerous, falling apart and the toilet facilities at these hides are TERRIBLE! It is sad to see the facilities in the reserve keep declining.

    Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Close to Manyane gate to enter Pilansberg. Felt safe as the property was patrolled during the night. Comfortable bed. Just overall a very affordable and great resort on our doorstep.

    There is room for improvement.

    There is room for improvement. Please also provide filtered coffee for breakfast, not just Ricofy. Swimming Pool needs maintenance. Water pressure is too low perhaps this is the municipality issue not theirs. Electricity outages: please consider backup. Small parking space and the eating area also is small. Otherwise it is a nice place to stay with beautiful mountain view.
