- From $1,823.84 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 125 reviewsI can't say enough great things about The Silo. I had read all the rave reviews about the architecture, the service, the rooftop pool/bar before booking my stay... the last night of a milestone mother/daughter birthday trip. It was a splurge, but it was a special occasion so I booked us the Duplex Suite. I had noted the birthdays on my reservation and when we arrived we were given such a warm welcome by the staff and they said they had a birthday surprise for us (we thought it was early check in since we arrived a few hours early). We were given a tour of the hotel's common spaces (all perfectly decorated with curated pieces and local art) along with a glass of champagne but weren't prepared for our last surprise when we were walked down the hall and escorted to our upgraded room... the Royal Suite. This was easily the most luxurious of accommodations we had ever stayed in. Two beautiful rooms, two beautiful bathrooms, the interior design details, a bottle of champagne chilling and a birthday treat -- every detail was perfect. Management went above and beyond throughout our entire stay and truly made the last day of our birthday trip so special and unforgettable. If you find yourself in Cape Town don't pass up the opportunity to stay at The Silo.Guest review byJessicaUnited States
- From $141.85 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 2,427 reviewsWe loved our rooms, which had gorgeous views of the golf course and ocean. For early risers, a sunrise with a coffee is unforgettable. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom is an absolute delight, with a huge tub to soak away in. The buffet breakfast had a nice variety of options, from your classic egg station to salmon pâté and scones. If you take the option with breakfast included, it is great value for money. The golf course is one of the most beautiful courses I have played in my life.Guest review byJacquesOman

Cape Town is a very nice and clean city, easy to move around though you can get stuck in traffic during peak hours. The V&A Waterfront is always a great place to hang around with so much to see and do. The highlight for us and especially my 3-year old grand daughter and 8-year old niece was the visit to the Aquarium, it was the most amazing experience and of course the boat ride on the waterfront.Guest review byVuyiswaZimbabwe - 10.0

A most delightful vibrant little town, one needs to remember it is a student town, so if staying close to clubs and pubs, going to be a little noisy. Great shopping and eating experiences. Traffic quite crazy though.Guest review bySHIRLEYSouth Africa - 10.0

Going there at the end of September allowed to enjoy great weather and an opportunity to see whales during the start of the whale season. The city was not very busy during the week, but weekend it gets busier than usual. We had the Grotto beach all to ourselves from the morning, midday the sun is very hot during Spring or summer, thus a good time to head for some lunch at nearby resturants to enjoy ocean meals or popular flame grilled meat. The neighbourhood is calm and suitable to walk around in Hermanus centre.Guest review byThapeloSouth Africa - 10.0
