Amazing all around!! Comfortable, peaceful, clean, beautiful. Staff great, facilities are beautiful and they have thought of everything. Breakfast delicious with homemade bread, juice, cheeses and hot food.

the only thing that could have been improved - and we have found this to be an almost universal problem in guest accommodation - was the lighting in the bedroom, which unfortunately made reading impossible.

the breakfast was excellent: varied and creative (sublime non-dairy fruit pots!), including local produce. the facilities were very good, with an exceptional sauna, a hot tub and a guest sitting room, in which an open fire was lit every evening. moreover the lodge is attractively situated in spacious mature grounds, only minutes from schull. but above all, rachael was an exceptional hostess; not only was she welcoming and really contactful but also very sensitive to all our requirements. it was a pleasure to meet her, stay with her and be looked after so well. we were delighted we booked for a week.

Lovely host. Stunning location. Boutique style bedrooms. Huge bed that was extremely comfortable! Spotless bathroom. Delicious breakfast! Will definitely return in the future.

Family run, so friendly, breakfast was amazing, garden is such a bonus. And their dogs… incredibly cute and child friendly which says all you need to know about the owners. Highly recommend- we were a family of 5 with 3 small kids.

Everything was perfect.

Loved everything, bed was comfy, shower was amazing, pressure was the best I've ever experienced. The breakfast was first class! We got a sheet to fill in the night before, I chose the fry (delicious) When you went down for breakfast though there was so much extra on offer, overnight oats, wheaten bread, banana bread, local cheese, chorizo&crackers, museli etc etc. There was the option to use hottub but we arrived later and were tired. I actually wished we had stayed 2 nights to avail of all that was on offer. First class!

Beautiful home and thoughtful, kind host. Food was lovely, homemade with lots of locally sourced items. The private sauna was an incredible bonus during the stay! Would absolutely come back to stay again.

Just spent a fantastic 2 nights here. Lovely position just outside Schull with gorgeous gardens to enjoy, loads of outdoor seating, but only 15 minutes walk into town. Best choice of breakfast we’ve had during our 10 days in Ireland; all locally sourced/homemade. Good sized room with everything you could need and great shower.
